Matching treatments to your skin type

Your skin type-whether oily, dry, combination, sensitive, acne-prone, or mature-has unique needs, and a one-size-fits-all approach simply won’t deliver the results you’re looking for. Here’s why each type benefits from a targeted treatment plan: Oily Skin: Needs lightweight, hydrating products to balance oil without clogging pores. Dry Skin: Benefits from layering hydrating serums and emollient...

@@YMB124 thanks for the tip
Is this a peel I can do at home or do I run a risk of burning my skin? I bought a package of 4 facials for 1,200 and think I could have done at home. Maybe I can do next year
This is a medium depth peel, so it's not advisable to do it at home unless you've been trained in how to use it. There is a risk of burning or excessive pigmentation if used inappropriately.
I have olive skin . Is LED mask good for me . I have heard it caused hyperpigmentation.
LED treatment can cause hyperpigmentation in darker skin types, if the correct wavelength of red light isn't selected. Using red light at a wavelength of 633nm has been proven to be safe even for darker skin types.
Good content. ❤
Glad you think so!
Ok will try.
Let me know how you get on
Promo sm 😔
.
The issue I’m having is my skin is dry and my forehead looks weathered…I also have acne scarring on my cheeks
Having regular peels will help, but you also need to keep moisturising, especially in wintry weather
You have nice skin and I like your smile/teeth!! ❤❤
Thank you
love the delivery and the lyrics 10 outta 10
Thank you
How often you should do this peel?
The recommended protocol is once every 2 weeks for 4 to 6 treatments, depending on skin condition. You can then maintain results by having a couple of treatments every 6 months thereafter
@@tdaestheticsclinic Thank you so much. I am doing it along with aerolase laser. I am hoping for excellent results.
You got a nice smile.
Thank you 😊
How do I Get the peel out of the tube? TIA
This peel is a clinic-based treatment, so your practitioner should be able to get the product out of the vial using a needle and syringe.
just discovered this page its lovey I am thinking of doing this does this lighten the face
This peel can lighten dark areas, when used as part of a course of peels over 4 to 6 treatments
@@tdaestheticsclinic ok thank you dear. I am dark skin and I have hyper pigmentation some parts on my face are darker dan some parts
Great video! Thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed it. Let me know if you have any skin treatment requests so I can do more videos
Just started my skincare routine with Alumier hopes it works with my black stops and acne thanks it is helpful.
I'm sure you'll notice a difference with the products. Like anything else in life, consistency and patience will get you to your goals. Good luck
I've heard good things about this stuff.
It's an excellent peel, suitable for all skin types, with minimal downtime and if used properly, no risk of hyperpigmentation. I love it!
@@tdaestheticsclinic thanks I will try. Very good review.
Thank you
You're welcome; hope you found this video useful
Hi does it good for malasma
Hi, great question. Melasma is caused by hormone-driven pigmentation, in excess of the skin's usual pigment formation. Depending on the depth of penetration of the peel into the skin, the treatment can affect melasma in 3 ways: 1) exfoliate away pigmented cells on the skin surface, 2) encourage cell renewal so normalised pigment cells move to the skin's surface, 3) disrupt the process by which more excess pigment is made. All of these effects can be maintained by using medical grade skincare such as Alumier, after the peel course has finished. Melasma cannot be cured, but it's appearance can be managed. Hope that helps.
This was helpful! Do you mind sharing where you got your bamboo cloth pads from?
Yes of course. I ordered mine on Amazon a while ago and I can't find the exact link, but this is a similar pack. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08K1VQQN4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_GZPZR675HZK44RCC8BEA
@@tdaestheticsclinic Thanks!
Wheres the update?
Hi Lulu, I forgot to take an after picture 🙈
You have such a beautiful voice and way of speaking. I wish I lived in your area, so I could be a client.
Thank you for your lovely comments. Even though you don't live locally to me, I may still be able to help with medical grade skincare, supplements and advice. Please let me know if you'd like to book an online consultation via video call.
@@tdaestheticsclinic Thank you for letting me know, I'll consider it!
Hi I am so happy I found your videos. I just had this peel done. I was concerned with it being suitable(TCA??) for skin of richer tones, ie scarring, hyperpigmentation which i suffer etc. We did this for 4 min. Its been 4 days and very minimal peeling. I am very very happy with the results so far. Any advise if i should continue with this treatment? Is there another? Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your comment and enquiry. TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peels come in a variety of concentrations, and can be safely used on darker skins as long as a detailed consultation has taken place first. In some cases, skin may need to be prepped for a few weeks prior to the peel, for example with home care products containing kojic acid and tyrosinase inhibitors to reduce the excess pigment in the skin. Hope that helps, and best of luck on your skin journey!
@@tdaestheticsclinic Thank you. This is what I am currently using.... Cerave SA face wash, The Ordinary Retinol .2% in squalane, ME+ Tranexamic Acid 2.5%, The Ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate and The Ordinary resveratrol and ferulic acid. Last my sunscreen Inzincable by DR V. I use these in this order(retinol 3min before ). I did have niacinimide from The Ordinary that I did not use as often. I have been on these, minus the Tranexamic Acid for 2 months. I stopped these products 4+ days before my Biorepeel. One week post peel and I am ok with the results. Please can you tell me if the products and routine are good for tyrosinase inhibiting? Can I use these items back to back? Thank you again, for your time.
Hi, of the products you're using, retinol, ascorbic acid and tranexamic acid are particularly good for reducing hyperpigmentation. I'd check to see the percentage of ascorbic acid, as anything under 15% won't be as effective. Also ensure the retinol you're using is micro encapsulated for slow release, and also the right formulation. Eg retinol palmitate is mostly ineffective on skin.
@@tdaestheticsclinic Thank you . Everything you said is exactly my point!! At your clinic, is that something we can treat and or have product recommendations, to help treat my issues, i.e. melasma, hyperpigmentation etc?
Yes, I usually carry out a detailed consultation first (which can be via video call if preferred) to determine the main issues of concern, then advise a bespoke treatment programme accordingly. Treatment programmes for hyperpigmentation and melasma may include a course of chemical skin peels for medium depth exfoliationand increased cell turnover, oral supplements for skin brightening, and skincare to break down areas of dense pigment, and to prevent excessive pigmentation, as well as sunscreen for protection. If you'd like to book a consultation, please use the online link below. I work from clinics in Wigmore and Sheerness in Kent. portal.aestheticnursesoftware.com/book-online/564

Hi I am a model. I had hyaluronidase injected 5 units into 1 nasolabial fold. It has impacted my natural tissues. I was refilled after a few weeks but looks much worse. Will my skin heal? Does hyluronic acid replenish but possible may never be same? I am 28. Products don't go deep enough. I could try stem cells & trentinoin? Do u know about connective tissues? Can u help me?
Hi Tyler, thanks for your query. Hyaluronidase breaks down the bonds holding hyaluronic acid molecules together, but it works on both injected hyaluronic acid (filler) and naturally produced hyaluronic acid. Owever the actions of hyaluronidase are shortlived, and within a few weeks, your natural level of hyaluronic acid will return to normal. Bear in mind this depends on age and your hydration level, so drinking water will help.
Your skin will heal, but if you are unhappy with the aesthetic result you should go back to the practitioner if possible, to discuss the outcome and to see if any remedial action is required. If you would prefer to visit another practitioner, ask for recommendations to ensure you will go to a trusted practitioner with proven results. If you'd like to book an online consultation with me please visit my website.
Thanks for your reply. At this point there is nothing the Dr office can do but I will drink water and take care of myself.
I think there is nothing remedial that can be done. What is done is done.
@@Dreamsmckenzie do take time before you make any decisions. Other treatment options, such as microneedling, may offer a way to stimulate collagen, and improve deeper lines such as those seen in nasolabial folds. Although collagen stimulation like this is effective, it takes longer as it depends on your skin renewal cycle. Good luck, and please let me know if I can help further.
what about the effects of the nuts or diet on acne?
Great question. There have been studies linking dietary triggers such as dairy products to acne, so reducing dairy intake could help to reduce acne. However it's worth bearing in mind that hormonal disruption has a clearer link to cause of acne. Probiotic supplements have also been shown to reduce the appearance of acne, most likely because they help to regulate bacteria. Hope that helps.
Tawa Dowling thanks for the response and yes that was really helpful ❤️
thanks for your nice information
You're very welcome😊
Is this method ok for black acne on the nose?
Yes, this treatment works really well on blackheads, particularly when combined with chemical skin peels like salicylic acid, as it allows for deep exfoliation of the pores to remove the debris that leads to blackheads.
