17 layouts of various gauges, 10 traders and demonstration societies done over 2 parts. This is part one with 11 layouts in it from 009 to 0 gauge featuring Scarborough model railway society and some members from the Hull Miniature Railway Society. A Big thank you to them for fantastic weekend.

The Class 37 is one of the few really great locomotives powered by a diesel engine. It looks like a Deltic, it sounds like a small Deltic, but it was used for mixed traffic.

Why is the plate of coal on the side of the Immingham to somewhere else there? First, a plate is not the natural place for coal. Second, hasn’t’Er Indoors complained?
Its to show what type of coal was used at the Loco shed
Is the blue diesel on the layout with overhead electricity a Class 45?
Not 100% sure on that. Will have a look and back to you. I'm glad you like the layouts
Horncastle is my kind of layout. It’s in 00 gauge and has great sounding locomotives!!

Thanks for the video, I set off to go to the show from Doncaster on Saturday only to find the M180 closed and diversion via A18 Scunthorpe which was gridlocked with traffic going nowhere, forced to abandon trip and return home, unfortunately had another venue on Sunday 😯

Hi Simon. Constructive criticism. In American English, use modeling and in British English, use modelling. It's your channel so it's you're choice. Lovingly the model railway video's keep them coming.
If I used the proper term for modelling then my channel wouldn't stand out. Thank you for comment and there will be some more video's on the way.

I spent ages near the Gratham - the streamliner years, but never made many photos. It seemed to have long moments were nothing was happening, and also kneed deep in people. I tend to like lots of train movements, otherwise I loose interest and move on. Thanks for sharing your video!
