Been listening to music since 1968, heard thousands of song anf bands....and Aldious is my favorite band of all time they have been around since 2008 have 9 studio albums all 9 are Billboard Japan top 100 albums in the years they came out. They have exactly zero bad or even mediocre songs. Always hapoy to see soneone discover this amazing band. If you like Kpop and Jpop, do Aldious Die For You live. Nice reaction. This is BABYMETAL blending Ska with the Metal ... and just doing it right at their first try. These were the most recent masks to be worn by the Kami Band. Their previous masks were a bit more plain on the whole, these newer ones look more menacing I think. The Kami Band in this song, performing one of their instrumental intros, were Chris Kelly and CJ Masciatonio on guitars, Clint Tustin on bass and Anthony Barone on drums. In 2017 at the Big Fox Festival the Kami Band of the East (as I recall it was Mikio Fujioka (RIP), Takayoshi Ohmura, BOH and Hideki Aoyama) performed their own intro for 'Yava'.

Yava is a brilliant dig at Babymetal detractors. My interpretation is the song is sung from the perspective of a Metalhead that is loosing their mind hearing Babymetal for the first time and not being able to come to terms with their thoughts, they think Babymetal shouldn't be called metal because they don't follow the norm of what metal should be but are confused because as a purist they feel it would be wrong for them to like what they hear, Babymetal has got into their head and it's making them crazy. "Any of them are alike. Everybody says so, but they are in some way a little different, aren't they? A little different, I wonder so after all." "Different. Different. That's not acceptable. Different. Different. You say so, but... Different. Different. I don't know. Eh? They are in some way a little different?" "I can't stop caring about it. What should I do? Like most BM songs, Andrew Hartely's You Tube channel delves into the meaning of Yava. My take-away is it's about resisting peer pressure to conform to the group's concensus. P.S. I perfer the earlier versions of this song and Awadama Fever. The Eastern Kami Band's intos are more unique I.M.O. and although I luv MoMo to death, Yui is just so damn cute in these charming songs.

Great reaction! This is an old classic that we haven’t heard live in years! So happy they brought this back. Yes, Kami Band recently updated their masks to the newer and cooler version. From stage left to right: Chris Kelly (pink guitar), Clint Tustin (bass), Anthony Barone (drums), and CJ Masciantonio (tiger stripe guitar). These 4 have backed Babymetal as Kami West since 2019. Yava! = “Oh no!” The song’s overall meaning is along the lines of: “This is different, that is different, Oh No! What should I do?!” Many thinks it’s a fun jab at the early Babymetal critics who didn’t accept them because they are “different”. 🤣 🤘🦊

👍 👍 The East and West Kami Band are ALWAYS the LIVE bands backing BABYMETAL. This was the West Kami (began touring with BABYMETAL in 2019)featuring musicians from the USA and since early 2023 have been doing the bulk of the world tours for them. The East Kami Band features musicians from Japan and started performing LIVE with BABYMETAL in 2012.

_"Pippo pappo pippo pappo piii"_ 🦊🤘🔥 Welcome back to the Foxhole. This is a song from Metal Resistance 2016 album and era when YuiMetal was still part of the group. YAVA! (actually Yabai!, It's a contraction) means like "oh no!" or when describing something dangerous or surprising, that's the facial expression you can see on the girls. They're fusing ska genre and metal in a way no one did before, the cuteness and charming of these girls are unmatchable. The Kami Band intro in this one is super fun, unfortunately they cut it off from the official live clip, cool you found this version. Until 2017 the East Kami Band played the intro, they played the song a few more times but without the intro, now this is the first time West Kami Band is playing it along with the intro. Also after YuiMetal left the group, the avengers system were the backing dancers but only Riho Sayashi and Kano Fujihira were the ones selected to perform this song, and last March at Legend MM celebrating MomoMetal's 21 birthday in Yokohama Arena it was Momo-chan first time performing YAVA! "Chigau" in the lyrics is the temporary title fans gave to this song when they did the live premiere without knowing the song, the word means "different" and totally fits with the meaning of the lyrics, this could be a song talking about them, you know, the surprise factor of being different. You can enjoy the Kami Band intro version as well the original trio performing with the live at Fox Festival 2017. Next suggestion to have some more fun and with another Kami Band intro: - Awadama Fever with Kami Band intro live at Fox Festival 2017. You might like "Daydreaming" (official music video or the live video). Band-Maid don't block people using their official videos. Also, "Endless Story" from the same concert as "Hate?" -- in fact, the finale of that concert -- was almost a ballad, and definitely emotional. Saiki (lead singer) was also expressing the band's appreciation for the audience -- for all their fans -- during that song.

Gosh you really need to just stop and react during the mv because you have completely lost the plot of the song and forgetting what you have watched. It is a Cinderella theme with the silver stilleto shoe dropped on stage is returned to the front door at the end, door bell rings with an invitation to attend a special event. The beginning beat is repeated at the end which means a full circle. What was a dream has become reality. The central dreamer is Pharita. In real life, she was a child catwalk model in Thailand with the potential and the dream to become a runway supermodel. Fastforward today, the doorbell is ringing with invitations for Baby Monster to attend special events and product showings, Christian Dior on Like that exclusive performance, Adidas in Batter Up, Gucci on Vogue Korea. In Forever, you see references to Big Ben, London and Bentley.

Nov.26 last year, My wife and I were there in Yokohama Arena with tears of joy and sadness as well to say good-bye to the ladies at last. We chanted with the loudest voice to this song that night. The moving finale of the 3-hour-40-minute long show. (33 songs) Happy fatigue and hoarse voice thereafter.😄

Thank you for checking out Band-Maid again! This was the last song of this 3.5-hour long concert at Yokohama arena. I was there! They made this song, dreaming of performing it at this venue one day. So it was a dream come true for them! Btw, the main fans of Band-Maid are 40s and older (regardless of nationalities), and approximately 50% of their YT subscribers are from abroad. People said that over 1000 international fans flew into Japan to experience this 10th anniversary tour final concert!

"No giving up-this struggle is 'The mark of life'" No truer words ever spoken. This song was very emotional as it was the last song of a 3.5 hour concert marking the last song of their 10 Year Anniversary Tour. They do love their fans and we do love them 💕
