Im playing a similar deck, but what I struggle against is these big control decks, like Bossk Blue, and Palp Green. Maybe I just haven’t found the way to play against those type of decks, but I get steam rolled 😂

How to beat the palpatine controll with that deck?

I think with Qira, Entrenched might be ggod, you can play Pyke T1, then T2 you Entrench then shield, it became an obnoxious 5/6 sentinel with shield

With Sabine yellow, why not run Darksaber? It can still go on your leader or baby Sabine without an aspect penalty, and still goes hard when it sticks.

Han1 Yellow I think is a bit iffy and I'd put it in the top but Han2 Blue tops/wins so many tournaments at the moment, it isn't breaking into the meta, it is the meta!

Nice, now give me 3 Poe and 2 Krayt. This is such an expensive deck. Probably one of the most expensive Set 2 decks. I love it but no chance I'll spend that money :(

Idk bout that, I built my Rey deck more space oriented and it takes people out by surprise, definitely look into the grey squadron y wing that card does significant amounts of early damage, on swing it forces the opponent to deal 2 damage to a base or unit and it’s good not to have to waste time thinking how will I deal that extra damage

The real test is how it fairs against the king, double yellow bobba… cause that’s the deck to beat right now

Why aren't you using video of playing on Karabast? I feel like a bad matchup made worse by the opponent having a terrible mulligan doesn't show what the deck can do?

This deck gets absolutely blasted by Tarkin yellow. It cant keep up with the damage that deck provides in space and it even out paces the restore. Games end on 4 or 5 mana so you cant even flip into Rey.

May I suggest a Jabba Yellow Deck for locals. Good thematic deck but can't get the mix of stalling aggro and running faster than hard control.

Thanks for the great video, my wife has been working on making Rey work so I’ll share this with them too. Would love to see your take on Gar Saxon. I’ve been working on Gar Green and it has been pretty successful so far. Has a rough time into control that I’m trying to correct for, but I love the leaders concept and the gameplay is fun :)

Deck list is not working.

Love the content. Some thoughts after listening to your introduction and then going through the commentary... I dunno, I think the reason Rey red did so well in this tournament has to do with the untested meta and the skewing toward unrefined aggressive decks, like that Han deck. No disrespect meant to the deck, but playing Wrecker in a deck where you also want to get to Krayt is a little anti-synergistic. Your deck also unfortunately plays very poorly into Tarkintown \ daring raid. Nothing you can do about that. That's just how young Han is. In testing Red Rey is just too "fair" to complete with some of the heavy hitters, like Yellow/Gr Boba, Red/Green villain, Emperor, or old Han. Also some play thoughts: you played the Bright Hope, when you probably should have ECL'd Poe to take out K2 and nuke the token from the Awing. Leaving K2 on the board to hit you again is the wrong plan. Later on, killing Yoda instead of K2 is a really inefficient play. It's not 1 extra damage vs K2. It's you take 4, then you take 3 when K2 dies. Plus the extra 4 you took the previous turn. If the Rey player just draws another K2, they can unique rule 3 damage to you, and then they got max value.
