Quick and easy replacement of a 1980s exhaust fan in small bathroom without replacing the housing and duct work. If the cheap Broan 688 or 696N bracket/fan assembly from Home Depot or Lowes won't fit your existing fan's housing and you are considering buying a sketchy brand fan motor off amazon/ebay or considering a more expensive replacement project watch the video to see how I was able to remove the old fan from the bracket and repurposed the fan's bracket for a very inexpensive and quick fix.
