COVID-19 pandemic exposed the weaknesses in the healthcare services in the world. Once the pandemic is declared over, the environmental health role is diminished by the political masters. Risk managers in public health need to administer the healthcare services in a holistic manner. Best wishes 👍

I think it should be mentioned in these type of videos that the EHO role is primarily a compliance based position. So essentially it is similar to a Police Officer's role but without the right to use weapons and arrest. You will be collecting evidence, conducting formal interviews and issuing fines under conflict and intense situations. As much as it is a 'feel good' job in that we are protecting the health of the community, new students should be made aware of the regulatory compliance aspect of the role as it is not suited to a lot of people. I have seen many new graduates who were not fully aware of this and as such have struggled and moved on to other roles as the pressure and nature of enforcement just got too much for them.
