    We usually only talk about the direction of induced current as opposed to the direction of induced emf. The induced emf has a polarity that drives the induced current around the loop though, and it will be in the same direction as conventional current meaning out of the positive "terminal" around the loop and back into the "negative" terminal.

      Yes, the hat notation makes it a unit vector which means it has a magnitude of 1 unit and n is the letter we typically use for the normal vector. The normal vector is a vector that is perpendicular to something. So in this case it is a vector that is perpendicular to the plane of the area. Great question!
