The interesting thing about an octopus is… another creature doesn’t even know what it’s looking at when coming upon one. Usually they see a reflection of themselves, due to the octopus’s unique and amorphous and reflexive nature. Especially in a violent and hostile place. But once in awhile… a human or intelligent… non threatening creature interacts with it and… voila. Something else entirely. I am not invulnerable and I’m not meant to be. No one is. Invulnerability is a myth. This phrase “iron sharpens iron” like many things has been taken to an imbalanced extreme. And when it lacks humility, compassion, and truthful understanding … we’re in trouble. I’m not made out of iron. Last I checked… neither are you or anyone else.

Y’know what’s funny… I showed this to my biological father because I was living at his place at the time… a full blown narcopath btw… and he’s just nodding along like “yeah… those people are …ugh …” … I can just see the cacophony of heads nodding … of some I know… as if to say “yes… you too!” I think I get it now… they hate themselves so much for being like this… and I need to be like them in order to make them feel better about themselves… Here I thought… you all loved being like this so very much… How can you not know… still? Is the narcissism that all consuming? That blinding? Or is it their need to put me beneath them artificially? Based on their narcissism? Narc logic is very dubious I got one of the clearest povs into that inner world for the first time last night… it was someone seeing themselves as an Egyptian goddess… encapsulated within this… wonderful tomb… a beautiful tomb… and the world outside was so distant and far away… almost incomprehensible. The only prerogative… sustaining that tomb. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to become more like you… I tried… and then maybe we could’ve all been good ol pals in wonderland… but… idk about all that… maybe it’s for the best… I’ve become more aware of one of my convoluted defense mechanisms tho… To become more foolish… to play games as an obfuscation… run around in circles… only the purest of hearts may enter and meet with mine… Like a pagan spell… Idk why you people think I keep doing these things on purpose. Is that what you do? Deliberately do and plan out everything? Everything??? That’s Ludacris to me… Where’s god in all of that? Other than bound up? Well, I will say this especially since I didn’t know at the time when I made this… wherever your core wounds came from… that core complex of shame… That’s not on me… But it looks… dark and empty… what happened?
