Lol Id quit if the special zone was that difficult. 1 second reaction time to bombs lol. Great animation!
You know, maybe when you collected 6 emeralds and got to the next checkpoint, the player could be sent to the hidden palace zone, there you had to find a master emerald and from it the 7th was given, and the one going to was skipped, at the beginning of the next ones they gave 10 rings, but every second checkpoint was broken

Ayyy reference to the original purpose of the hidden palace zone and it's music! For those who don't know, it was originally meant to be a zone you enter after getting all chaos emeralds, including a cutscene which would lead to the first super Sonic transformation
