Really good set! I have an issue with people using "Funky House" as a genre or style because if you are a fan of funk music which was pioneered partially by James Brown, you know that it did not have a 4/4 beat and focused on the down beat. Because of that, there is no such thing as "Funky House". At some point in the 70's and maybe earlier the "Funk" meaning changed from meaning a bad smell to something cool. It's my opinion that this set is "Disco House". One more note, I do consider track 17 of this mix, Ollie S. - Wildstyle (Original Mix) to be "Funky House", not because of the similar sounds as The Message and 5 Minute Of Funk but because of the beat.
