Good strategy, especially with a larger, harder-hitting opponent. Back away, teep. Back away, teep. Space control. If the opponent gets inside, clinch. Once the opponent gets frustrated and start overreaching, throw fast counter elbows. Get one or two hard elbows in and have them hesitate. Proceed mixing in elbows and teeps and head movement and clinching if the opponent tries to walk you down. Win.

Blue's mistake is when red tried to clinch her neck in the corner, she should try to grab her arms and then push her away as other boxers do to take control of the fight then start barraging her with punches, elbows and knees until she falls down. Blue should also be more aggressive and tried hard lucky punches.

Ddn knows the blue is a hard hitter that's why her main defense strategies were clinching and evading.

*Some facts about Kru Muay Association* The Kru Muay Association originated from the separation of the amateur Muay Thai from the professional Muay Thai. This division pursued the goal to have Muay Thai recognized as an Olympic discipline by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). A project that has not been successful until today. The officials of professional Muay Thai would like to have nothing to do with Kru Muay. For them this club is only a necessary evil. If you take a closer look, you will notice that all the so-called traditional teachers of the Kru Muay Thai Association have simply appointed each other as teachers and are now worshipped by wealthy foreigners once a year. The whole association is very political, but has less fighting competence than an average boxer in Rajadamnern Stadium or a Buakauw (who is a Cambodian and not a Thai by the way). Despite comprehensive state support, the Kru Muay Association still has no coherent teaching concept for traditional Muay Boran and Muay Thai is still not Olympic. *Some facts about Muay Korat* General Amnat Pookrisuk is a senior military officer who in his spare time teaches his own interpretations of Muay Veti (Muay Thai) to foreigners. Throughout his military career he has never fought in a boxing ring. He was never qualified as a Muay Thai teacher (Krob Kru) and is only an admirer of this sport. His famous „water buffalo technique“ comes from the (supposedly fictional) stories of Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Amnat likes to teach outside Thailand when he is on a business trip. Because he is a senior member of the military, he cannot be prosecuted. He knows many Thaiboxers through his participation in the betting business at Lumpini Stadium. He only learned Judo and Taekwondo from his military training. He mixed these styles with normal Muay Thai techniques and exports them abroad. Occasionally he claims to be able to do Ling Lom, but this is not true. Muay Korat was never in a Muay Thai fight and can neither be called an ancient nor a pure Thai martial art. I love *Muay Thai* because it never pretended to be anything else than the absolute great sport it is and I respect every single Nak Muay as fellow warrior. However there may be some people who disrespect you and tell you lies. So here is some *publicly accessible information* about the origins and backgrounds of *Muay Chaiya, Muay Thasao, Muay Korat, Muay Lopburi, the Kru Muay Association* and *Thaiachira* Please give a big *„Thank you!“* to Jay Jagger, Kasey Scott, John Telliper, Claudio Zanetti, Sam Jackson, Nathan Boiswert and Guy Prasertphong (links below). Their continued attempts to discredit #Pahuyuth have inspired some people around me to collect the following information for you. We hope this helps you to ask the right questions at the right addresses and to avoid spreading false information about so-called *Muay Boran Styles* in the future. *IMPORTANT:* Please check the source below for further information before commenting and let them know if you have any evidence that could invalidate the following information. 👉🏻 *Muay Chaiya* The Muay from the city of Chaiya mainly refers to a certain Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Ket Sriyapai was the son of a governor who was active in sports promotion and brought Muay Veti fighters (Muay Thai) from Chaiya to Bangkok to promote them there. Ajarn Khet never learned Muay Thai himself. The only reason why he is called "Ajarn" is that he has written and published some (fictional) stories about Muay Thai fighters. Ajarn Ket came from a high-ranking family and therefore never fought in a boxing ring. That would have been inappropriate for his standing. His actual profession was civil servant in the building industry. Later Muay Chaiya generations (for example Ket's school friend Tonglor Yalee) mixed normal Muay Thai techniques with Silat (Indonesia), Wushu (China) and Jiu Jitsu (Japan). For these reasons Muay Chaiya, and everything that comes from this direction, can neither be called an old nor a real Thai martial art. 👉🏻 *Muay Korat* General Amnat Pookrisuk is a senior military officer who in his spare time teaches his own interpretations of Muay Veti (Muay Thai) to foreigners. Throughout his military career he has never fought in a boxing ring. He was never qualified as a Muay Thai teacher (Krob Kru) and is only an admirer of this sport. His famous „water buffalo technique“ comes from the (supposedly fictional) works of Ajarn Ket Sriyapai (see above). Amnat likes to teach outside Thailand when he is on a business trip. 👉🏻 *Muay Thasao* The story of Muay Thasao is based on a Siamese swordsman named Phraya Pichai Daap Hak, who allegedly lived during the Thonburi period and was known to fight with two swords (daab song mue). The authenticity of his story, however, is highly controversial in professional circles, as there are many different versions of it and they all tell different things. However, none of these stories suggests that Phraya Pichai Daap Hak ever passed on his Muay Thai knowledge (if there was any) as a teacher or that he was qualified as a teacher (Krob Kru). There is also no evidence that he ever fought in a boxing ring - especially not with swords. There is no evidence of a local connection between Phraya Pichai Daap Hak and the village of Thasao. The fighters of Muay Thasao became known relatively recently through the (potentially fictional) stories of Ajarn Ket Sriyapai (see above). Not a single Muay Thasao fighter has ever been qualified (Krob Kru) in anything other than Muay Veti (Muay Thai). Although Muay Thasao is said to have existed for several centuries, there is still no working teaching concept. 👉🏻 *Muay Lopburi* The Muay from the city of Lopburi is just normal Muay Veti (Muay Thai) that tries to ride the Muay Boran wave. It has no special technical features and is definitely not Ling Lom. Muay Lopburi became known by the film "Ong Bak“. The naming of the techniques is strongly based on the Rammakian saga. The Rammakian is a stage-play that was translated into Thai language under the reign of King Rama II. (1809-1824) and thus became widespread. As a result, many of the so-called „ancient techniques" of Muay Lopburi cannot be older than 200 years. Members of the Muay Lopburi have not yet been able to answer the question of what their techniques were called before. that time. 👉🏻 *Kru Muay Association* The Kru Muay Association originated from the separation of the amateur Muay Thai from the professional Muay Thai. 👉🏻 *Thaiachira* A spin-off of Muay Chaiya, which originated from a student sports group at Ramkhamhaeng University and therefore has nothing to do with old fighting styles, but pretends to make themselves important. The chairman of Thaiachira (Kru Lamp) has no qualification as a teacher (Krob Kru). He has also never fought in a boxing ring. His sword knowledge is based solely on student sports and stage fencing (Krabi Krabong), which is taught at the university. The rest comes from Muay Chaiya (see above). *tl;dr* All major Muay Boran lineages are fake. All these Muay Boran styles above, that are praised as "traditional", are in fact derived from modern boxing Muay Veti (Muay Thai) or were made up. Muay Veti (awesome sport, no fake) remains as the only authentic Thai martial art. MUAI (part of Pahuyuth, no sport, no fake) remains as the only authentic predecessor of Muay Veti. 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 Some facts about Muay Chaiya: The Muay from the city of Chaiya mainly refers to a certain Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 Some facts about Muay Lopburi: The Muay from the city of Lopburi is just normal Muay Veti (Muay Thai) that tries to ride the Muay Boran wave. Members of the Muay Lopburi have not yet been able to answer the question of what their techniques were called before. that time. The officials of professional Muay Thai would like to have nothing to do with Kru Muay. For them this club is only a necessary evil. Despite comprehensive state support, the Kru Muay Association still has no coherent teaching concept for traditional Muay Boran and Muay Thai is still not Olympic.
