I make that same configuration when drilling horizontal under slabs for irrigation. Best to make the teeth 45 degree or so..like a saw blade. Much better bite into soil.

Do you need a more powerful water blaster number one number two you need to keep the power blaster hose at the bottom of the pipe so it blows the dirt loose!!! In ground that hard steel pipe would work much better with the spear end on it!!!

I currently work in HVAC, but I started and worked in construction for 12 years. One needs to know a lot more about structural integrity before cutting framing members such as ceiling joists and notching out rafters. One could make about 15 videos just on how to reinforce the existing framing. On the HVAC side of this work, I didn't see any pressure checking for any leaks, or vacuuming out the system and also checking for a leak in vacuum, weighing any additional refrigerant with a scale, and also wiring know how, One would be lead to believe the hardest part is cutting joists and a whole in the ceiling. Much, much more is involved in this project then the video leads someone to believe. I'm wondering why Steve had so much trouble getting a real HVAC installer. May be he didn't likey the pricey and thought this work was eazie peazie?

Been there, done that several years ago. I found it works better if you drill the coupling bit and put a bolt through it so it can't unscrew from the pvc. If you make a paddle board that you can grip on each side and then use steel hose clamps you can tighten it up on the pipe and turn the pipe in either direction and then as needed loosen the clamps and slide the paddle board up to where it works best. I drilled three wells and lost the second one and had to abandon it. I've decided if I ever want to drill another I'll dig a pit to fill with water and bentonite and use a mud pump to flush the mud out of the hole and save all that effort.

There's so many things left out of most of these Chinese 2-cycle videos 1) The operator provides all dealer service to these chain saws. There is no dealer network sales/service/warranty. 2) The saw's carburetor is at basic settings; just enough to get it to start maybe. The operator is responsible to do the dealer settings to low and high jets for optimum fuel to air ratio and idle speed. Too much air leads to burning and scoring piston rings, skirts and sidewall. Too much fuel leads to coking, ash, hard as nails carbon choking of the exhaust and ring seizure. 3) So much (i regret having to be so blunt) stupid and misinformed fuel to oil ratio advice in comments. These saws are sold all over the world. In the third world 30w oil is still in use just like in the 1960s when my pa mixed fuel to oil at 20:1; a quart of oil in 5 gallons of gas. This saw was sold in first world. We do NOT use oil in the first world, we DO use 2-cycle lubricants to mix into our fuel. Therefore this saw came with a 50:1 sticker. Modern JASO FD and ISO L-EGD mix lubricants are designed and tested AND CERTIFIED to be used at 50:1 and is backwards compatible to all other mix ratios no matter what the manual calls for. It really is that good. Way more lubrication than oil. Way more power output from the engine. Way more engine internal cleanliness. Far less pollution flowing out of the exhaust. Far longer service life. Always read the label carefully and only use mix oil labeled 'JASO FD' and/or 'ISO L-EGD' in your high reving air cooled outdoor power equipment. Best of luck to you.
