Miss you Noel
Mike your team needed Cannons! Cause yall were pirates 😁😁😁
HOLY COW!
Great interview!
The dude transfers to Texas Tech because he wants to find a better church and a month later he's on team without even going to a try out.
God did
Lynwood!
I was there as a kid and i remember the stadium in unison "OOHHHHHH" everytime they showed it in replay haha
That was EXCITING Texas Tech football. Even now, it's inspriing.
I was there and it was they loudest arena I have ever been in. Incredible shot, incredible win.
was he on scholarship? if so that’s worth a lot more than free rent and also the memories of kicking for Tech
Great story
From what I can see you are doing a great job replicating the history of Slaton. Keep up the good work. I just had an email conversation with Bob M. and will help any way i can with the 1809 and/or your layout. Sam D. Teague
Jack was a great guy, as well as an exceptional announcer !
Well done. I was a student..hard to believe that was 30 years ago
In Leach's 1st year, there was a lot of consternation about the passing O and how it wasn't working because Ricky Williams and Shaud Williams struggled and couldn't gain any yards; however, there were some of us who pointed out that this unknown guy, Wes Welker, was gaining 3-7 yards on plays that Ricky & Shaud was getting 0-1 yards on. The next year, Shaud was flourishing at Bama, Richy picked up the new scheme and was dominating again, and we started to realize Wes was really that good.
Man that’s awesome
I was a 13 y.o. at this game, sitting with my older brother in the Tech student section. Such a wild and crazy time for a young teen. When we tied ... ahh man, it was crazy!!! And then the kickoff, the pitch, and the run-back for the win. It was then that I was introduced to Texas Techs ability to to steal defeat (or at least a tie) from the jaws of victory. Despite this, been a proud Red Raider ever since.
Ron Reeves! The dude had a bazooka for an arm. He is really underrated. Why was Tres Adami hurt? Tech had a really small and not great OL. Reeves suffered the same fate for most of his career. After some games his entire body would be just one big bruise.
Amazing simply amazing
Great player and young man👍🏽♥️🖤🏈🖤♥️!!
I remember this was an early morning game and it was freezing out. 2005 if I remember correctly.
Was that Crabtree they interviewed?
Yes
This is one of the coolest stories ever
Perfection
Scored tied 27-27, 17 seconds to play... This was like the TN Titans win on a kickoff return.
Man when he returned punts.
Jesus is King
Probably Texas tech’s greatest moment as a football program. So impressive.
Doubtful. KSU wasn't particularly good that year and I'm pretty sure they've had bigger moments.
08 was their best season, and 05 the 2nd best season ever 2005 was awesome!
Great video. What a legend!
I miss real football.
David, who's the first interview speaking? I recognize John Harris (in the red shirt) but not the first guy in the black/navy shirt.
Ryan Hyatt
Was eating pizza at Mr Gattis in Lbk and saw it on their big screen. Lol
You should see his son 😂
I remember when i was 10 and seeing her come back to Texas Tech after going into the WNBA. I thought everyone was booing her, and I got so mad! Then then realized they were all saying "swoooooooops". :) And I went along with it.
Ha, why the wait??? I grew up in Lubbock, attended Tech and know almost all the greats from the 50's, 60's and on up yet have never heard of this guy. From everything I just heard, thjs guy should have been the first HOF entry into the ring...
How the fck did I ended here ? I'll tell you how. Last month I bought some Scooby Doo shoes, the Mystery Machine Converse edition, so I thought "eh, I should watch Scooby Doo for the old time's sake". That's what I did. I watch all the episodes of Mystery Inc., and loved the character of the Night Ranger. So I found a video on youtube with all his apparitions in the show, and a comment said it was a pardoy of David Wooderson. So here am I. How did you get there ?
No excuses
What a player! Amazing. Thank you for being a Red Raider.
BJ, and Wes Welker also are very nice guys in person.
I was at this game in the cheap seats. You could still feel the hit way up there.
There like in their 40s
I remember as a kid telling my father I wished he was playing for us at Permian.
Remember him kicking in high school
Sheryl Swoopes did it all!! Tough competitor and she played great defense!! The best female basketball player to ever play the game!!! I loved to watch her play!!!💪💯💯
You're forgetting players like Cheryl Miller or Cynthia Cooper. Sheryl was one of the best, but not the best ever.
@@darkdante9 that's your opinion not taking anything from their games. They were great also.
Do you know where I can get uncopyrighted clips of her best moments for my black history month video
A lot of that video is from the TV station that I work at. We would have no problem with you using it if you used a video courtesy for KAMC. (The only stuff that isn't ours is a couple of shots early in the story from the national title game.
The original music city miracle was actually in Lubbock Texas! But being buddy hollys home town the name still fits kinda! Lol
Thank you Texas Tech for Graham Harrell. We'll take good care of him. -USC
Alden Mann you need to thank UNT actually..since ya know..he was our OC for a few seasons. But don’t feel too good, Harrell is a pretty shotty OC
@@eazye619 I stand corrected. Thank you UNT! Anything will be an upgrade from last year bro.
TexTech lost legend and for such a gift for Trojans we must be very "thankful " to Kirby. More silly decision hard to imagine and this country guy from Utah as headcoach for TTRR, awful
