They are sweet.... taht being said theift like you mentioned on the push start models are crazy i know someone who travelled to montreal for a funeral and when they woke up their car was gone and never found ... insurance was good for it though. They drove a rental around untill their new one from toyota came in.

@@andrewdemers3121 Wow that sucks they got theirs stolen. Vehicle theft is increasing. Also insurance laws are changing every year and not in favor of people buying insurance. In researching the RAV4 I learned that there is no longer an option to have 5 year brand new direct replacement insurance in Canada. It's only 3 years now but insurance premiums cost slightly more for 2 years less. Part of the shrinkflation happening everywhere I guess. I heard that this was done to make insurance more affordable as costs rise. So when the car is over 3 years old if its written off like my old car was, then I would get a depreciated value settlement. Lucky with my old car it was a month before 5 years old when it was totaled in a no fault accident. Worth about $9000 more in the settlement offer according to my insurance adjuster. I'm glad I added that option to my plan, otherwise the depreciated value was a few thousand less than what I could have sold the car for before the accident.

Also I had a rental car covered by insurance for 3 weeks when my car was totaled. The deal is once a settlement is reached I got 3 business days to return the rental. I fought with them since any new vehicle was going to take months. But that's the policy and they would not give me the rental for anymore weeks. I take transit now waiting for the new RAV4.

Hello i changed my tires to put on winter tires last month overall very easy to take off although it is much easier and better on the hands if you wear gloves.. i think i could have let them on but i wanted to clean both the rims and the caps.

The only time i took them off was to change into snow tires at the end of the season i do clean the caps when cleaning my vehicle though.

Thats awesome you will not be dissapointed! i got lucky it was supposed to be around 3-6 months and because someone cancelled their order i got mine in just under 1 month!!

@@andrewdemers3121 Congrats on the early arrival of the car. In your other video, I saw you put on the sporty black wheel skins on the rims. If you don't mind me asking, how are they holding up? I am thinking of doing the same. I am also thinking about installing a chrome delete for an all black look.

I have alloy rims underneath so theres no silver cover to take off but if you plan on taking your hubcaps off there should be small clips and you should be able to pry them off. hope this helps

@@andrewdemers3121 thanks! I just took a look and also have alloy rims. makes sense that the aftermarket plastic cover exists then.

They will never fall off unless you take them off, put them on wrong or hit a curb really hard.... They fit your rims perfectly and shouldnt move at all (very snug).

You are 100% right i never even thought about it untill now..... i still love the way it looks and theyve done the job thus far!

The black rails on the top have cut outs you can pop out the roof racks would insert inside of those.

I picked up this vehicle in early April and the trim is LE hybrid

I wanted factory hitch just because it would look more like a part of the vehicle as opposed to an add on but I still don’t have the hitch installed and they’re saying late June early July so I’m regretting that decision:(

Thank you! The hitch is Factory istill havent received it as it is on back order but once they give me the call i hope to make a new video about it. I believe the factory hitch eill come fully harnessed as well. i have not really thought about the cat shields yet but it may be something to think about in the future. Might be the outside speaker in front of the radiator for blind people to hear it. pedestrian warning sound

@@mrkdavek very possible....In EV mode at slow speeds and while backing up theyre is a load speaker like you mentioned that goes off (sound likea space ship) to keeep pedestrians aware that there is a moving vehicle.
