so we charge a 300kWh battery in 10 mins. That's 1.8 MegaWatts, actually more because it's not 100% efficient. Just imagine a motorway service station to charge 10 vehicles at once. 25 MVA transformer. Plus the grid connection. Who is paying for thousands of these? (All of us I guess by inflation caused by the money being printed to do it.)

They are talking about putting roughly 280 to 300 kilowatts into the batterypack in 10 minutes. How are you going to provide those levels of power all day, every day, every 10 minutes? What is the supercharger station going to be like to deliver that kind of wattage that fast? I'm a fan of EV's but this doesn't sound plausible. 10 minutes is a holy grail. 900 miles is excessive. 350 miles is sufficient for most. Even 600 miles would take you 9 to 11 hours of constant driving.

No matter how fast the charge is, it still takes the same amount of energy. We don't have the power infrastructure to support EVs and quicker charge times don't solve this issue. It's pure BS. Do some research and you will find I'm right.

Calling out a 10 minute recharging time is absolute horsesh#t unless you also specify the capacity of the charging infrastructure that will accomplish this miracle. For example if you had to admit that a 10 minute recharge required 100% of the electrical output of a Ford Class nuclear aircraft carrier it becomes less of a selling feature. Stop repeating marketing bs as if it was real information.

There are a few technologies out there that could push ranges 2x to 4x from lithium ion batteries. all at the laboratory scale right now. Typically it takes 5-10 years to commercialize a new technology from the laboratory scale. If they can get up from 350 Wh/kg to closer to 1000-1200 W-h/kg. Electric small planes will be come more viable. right now a single engine electric plane only has a flight time of 45 min to an hour with reserves. If they can triple the energy density you could get a 3-4 hour range, probably 500-700 miles without needing a charge. I would buy one tomorrow, because 90% of the cost of operating small planes is in fuel and engine maintenance.

Ignore the physics. How exactly will any charge station be able to force 3x the energy into any storage device in 1/3 the time? The cables alone would have to be 6" in diameter and each charge station would have to have a dedicated 25 megawatt power generating station (maybe nuclear?)

I don't need 900 miles of range, but 10 minute charge is the trip point for me to buy a BEV.

900 is more than double the capcity now. Lie! EV cars are still in the infant stages. The batteries they have now are the limit of batteries. If this was the case, we would have power tools, phones, and many other rechargeable items using this technology. Battery companies would be bragging about this long before Toyota. The car probably recharges the batteries while your driving. At least to extend the amount of use. Hiwever this is being done already

hmm, I see, I have seen 3 different reviews of the same product with different paint jobs. One is a hello kitty variant. You tell they are the same as they have the exact same physical features. Low suction, but the biggest problem, is that it has no idea where it is or where its been, so now, youll actually just save time by cleaning it up yourself.
