      Not sure what your question is but if you are asking if you can replace a flush choke that comes from the manufacturer with an extended choke, the answer is yes.

      I thought you should use the most wide open choke for slugs. I was going to use the cylinder choke, but I'll ask someone who may know better at the range. I hope this helps.

    My first shot with a s shotgun at 8 years old was a Winchester mod 12 with a Marbles poly choke on modified. It was a hit. Kind of stuck on using modified after playing with 5 or 6 shot one notch above and below modified. Great video!!!!!

    Curious. If the shot doesn't leave the wadding until after the wadding leaves the barrel, how can shooting without a choke installed damage the 'exposed' threads? ^v^

    Thank You for not using the US measurements! I like seeing a lot of options but they don’t include inches and I won’t Sub to them because of this…. It’s one more word that cost a million subscribers, we refuse to lower our expectations. But not with this kind of content we don’t have to. Thank Dave Florida

    What choke to use for riffled slugs? 20 gauge

    • @matthewl1187
      @matthewl1187 6 месяцев назад

      I'm wondering the same thing. I'm getting my son a 20 gauge for Christmas and we plan to deer hunt with rifled slugs. I've been looking through comments concerning slugs and have seen a few replies saying that the Cylinder or Improved Cylinder chokes are best for slugs. Full chokes were highly discouraged for slugs. Not sure if that advice is applicable to a 20 gauge or not....I was really hoping he would cover this info in the video.

    With all the names and most of the names and sizes change when changing bore size. I have moved to the UK’s naming convention of 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, & Full. But then of course they have extra full and others. To many names to remember but at least the notching convention has stayed relatively uniform

    Some clarification for future videos. Either say .730 inch or 730 thousandths of inch, but don’t say .730 thousandths of an inch. But I think we know what you were trying to say.
