If a poll was taken in Abbotsford, I wonder how many people (church) would give a damn about the poor walking by while video taping a message. Break-out rooms? How about breaking out and giving the homeless guy a hand JUST ACROSS THE STREET. Priorities man, priorities. But no, we need to look at stats, look at "Gallop" polls. Frankly sir, how you opened your video was utterly uninspiring and did not carry any message that embodied the great commission. The Bible is Jesus-centric. NOT leader-centric. Further, the Holy Spirit is not dispensed by "leaders" who can't even get helping the poor right. I bounce up and down as I say this because that is what makes me spiritual. There are times in which sarcasm in called for. This is one of those times. So, fly off to your conferences and spend the tithing money on the things that are really important. Spread your message far and wide of your doctrinal bent. Meanwhile, Abbotsford languishes in darkness. A church on many corners, yet streets and parks littered with the homeless. What an eyesore. Again, sarcasm to emphasize my point. How much money for building funds and retreats? Pray for bigger break-out rooms to call the fire down from heaven to be self anointed and say "God is in this place". Print screened for posterity.

I've watched some of the videos. I would like to know where does, "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and was God" come into your teachings? Jesus IS the "Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last". Jesus does speak to us through the written word. Yes, I believe the Lord still speaks to people as it is indicated in scripture, but such a heavy emphasis on 'prophecy' can lead to false voices and ASSUMPTIONS that it is the Lord who is speaking. Frankly, it is a sin to be "presumptuous". Out of curiosity, does the IMF and those congregations within its ranks follow the patter than was laid out by Paul regarding tongues, interpretation of tongues and how many can prophecy in a church? According to 1st Corinthians 14: 28-33 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two--or at the most three--should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God. 29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
