loved the theming of her being named after Eve, the first woman to have sinned and her being the first killer. Plus her fighting an up hill battle to be more then her talent. Adding on to that is the visual of her falling into fire, such like the commonly associated visuals of hell, being a pit of fire and suffering.. beautiful execution

God, I had gotten spoiled so I knew who the victim and culprit were, but the discovery and execution were both really disturbing. I couldn’t even bring myself to look at the latter for a good chunk of it.

At first I thought this was basically playing straight with the V.I.P student becoming the first victim. Then when I think about, it kind of subverts the trope of the antagonist and protagonist's partner dying in chapter 5 by having them die in chapter 1 instead.

Eva Tsunaka's Execution Analysis by ReynTheWorld We know she introduced herself as the ultimate liar and it's even crossed out in the text of her execution name with her real talent being below it in bloody text, because it was revealed in the chemistry room she lied about her actual talent It's also a nice detail that as the ultimate mathlete the things she's being hit by in her way of escaping are tools used in math, it symbolises how she can't escape from that talent and how it'll keep coming back to her and making it worse no matter how hard she runs away from it and avoid it The fire in the execution can represent two things, the simple one being the phrase "liar liar pants on fire" because she "was the ultimate liar" or well lied about that and the other one being how eve ate the apple after being tempted to sin and was banished to hell, like how eva took tozu's offer and started the killing game and ending up in a deep pit of fire

Damon Maitsu is the protagonist, Eva Tsunaka is the deuteragonist and Wolfgang Akire is the tritagonist. Damon watching them die like that… would most likely break his confidence at surviving.

Eva is running away from her talent of being the Ultimate Mathlete which reflects her execution where instead the representation of her talent with the protractor, pencils, etc. pushes back to her oncoming death. And with her personally not trusting everyone that the one time she started to trust something in this case Cara's dummy body that it did literally cause her death and it serves as a bit of karma that she did when she betrayed Damon's trust.
