Today I'm presenting to you my 1981 Kip KK 330 dutch caravan, fully rebuild after 14 months of renovation and heavy work. With versatile kitchen, roof pop-top, built-in bathroom/wet-room, 410w solar panel on the roof, powered by EcoFlow Delta 2 and towed by my beloved French car - Peugeot 301. Join me in this tour - showing you the inside as well as the outside, which brought this caravan as a ...
Is FREE Camping Still a Thing in Slovenia ? 🇸🇮
Просмотров 94Месяц назад
In this video, I wanted to cover this controversial topic of "Is there still Free camping in Slovenia?" Now that I traveled with my caravan from East, to Central to the Western-South of the country I do have something to say. Yes and No, won't be exactly the answer you have been wanting, I'm sure. But the real thing is, we can't be even mad at people and the whole country trying to preserve and...
Caravaning in Slovenia | First Time in the Country🇸🇮

After spending two weeks in Croatia, getting used to the caravan, how quickly it could turn into a small sauna. I drove off West towards Slovenia. I had a few places marked on my Google Maps to visit like Velika Planina and it's old historical villages, the Logarska Dolina (Valley), Lake Bled, Lake Behinj and the Seven Lakes Valley in Triglav National Park and all of that while full time living...
come and let's make my favourite breakfast

Not all the time the spots you camped on are with picturesque and exciting views. Plus to top things off - I almost haven't slept the whole night, because of the constant trains that passed by my, as I literally parked next to the train tracks. I got up, and decided at least to try kick-start the day making my all time favourite breakfast.
First Time Cooking in My Caravan Kitchen

After spending the night at a random residential parking lot in Daruvar, Hrvatska. I headed west, to see the magnificent "Monument to the Revolution of the People of Moslavina" - was it worth - I wish I could say "Yes", no offence to the monument - but the next 40 minutes of drive towards Čazma, was something I wasn't prepared physically, mentally and my front-drive family sedan for the 30ish k...

And I headed off. Finally the long waited trip has began. I dreamed for this moment since summer of 2022 and finally 2 year later - after 6 months of searching for a camper/van, I bought a car and my first ever caravan and now after 14 months of renovations - the caravan was ready to get back on the road. Been planning for ever to get around all 27 countries that are in EU - and now that finall...
My Caravan Rebuild | The End

Finally I've reached the end of this journey - which 14 months ago I couldn't even imagine that it would turned into such scale, with all the challenges - physical and mental - I definitely overcome my fears of not making it and giving up at an early stage - when so much of my time and money have been spent on this project. In this video I tackled everything that has been left to do from the la...

In most caravans below 750kg total mass, especially those from the 1980's - did not have shock absorbers fitted as standard. They were using torsion axels for suspension, exactly what my 40 year old dutch caravan has. Unfortunately, with time - as with everything, these things got worn out - but replacing the hole axel is quite expensive - hence why I decided to choose the cheaper option - and ...

    That place, Lago di Braies, is the location for probably almost a hundred episodes, and many 100s of scenes of a famous Italian series Un Passo dal Cielo, with Terence Hill. I didn't know the name but I recognized the lake and mountains. There should be an old boathouse which in the series is called "la palafita" (a house over the water). In your last shot you must be sitting very near that boathouse. It was filmed there and in Cinecittá studios in Rome, but hundreds of scenes took place where you are sitting down in your last segment of your video. So G00gle Un Passo dal Cielo.

      @visulino 14 дней назад

      Oh, I just saw la palafita in one of your shots. That was Tererence Hill's home. Il forestale, he was a forest ranger. You are paying the price for the popularity of that location on TV.

    This must be the best video of Dolomites I've seen so far. Never been in those places, despite the fact that I'm only a few hours drive away. When I see videos like this, I'm all in buying a campervan. But then I think, suppose I do that and go there. Alone. Me and cows and crickets. No one to share with. I like to be alone, on my own and all, but this... this is too beautiful not to share with someone. I fear I might become a RUclipsr or something 🙂

    Well, the eggs are clearly not as old, as it says "fresh" right there on the box 🙂Toast bread is usually treated with a small amount of alcohol to kill the pathogens, this is why is slightly moist when you take it out. Alcohol then quickly evaporates and it's good to go.I would eat this with some apricot or plum marmalade instead of nutella. Your grandma taught you well. I miss my grandma, grandpa and my father, happy for you to still have them. Can you show some more around where you ended up and where you are heading? I have this dream to do the same thing and I'm actually interested in what kind of places I would end up when those places are not instagram material. Heat, wind, rain, bugs, noise... how do those things make it or break it. Are you enjoying the adventure or it turned out to be a bit of a PITA? I'm so curious.

      @@MarkoPetejan Hi Marko, thank you for stopping by. There are some valid questions here, which I might include in a video to answer. But to sum up the whole trip till now - indeed there are places where although I liked the nature of- it felt really crowded, because of the tourists and high season, like for example in Slovenia - Triglav National Park. My take on that is - more off-grid places, less touristy places, cities or as you said it "instagram like" places which are unfortunately destroyed by social media. If you need to visit a place - whether is in Europe or elsewhere - I would suggest off-season - although the weather might not be as good as it is in high season - you would at least save yourself from the noise pollution and tourist crowds which are massive at this time of the year. I have planned to share my experience so far in a video, with the caravan and all, so stay tuned for that in the next few weeks.

      @@Martin_Meramdzhiev well hi to you Martin from west Slovenia! I'm rooting for your channel to gain traction, however I'm noticing EU english speaking channels tend to have fewer subscribers than native language ones from bigger countries, like Italy. I'm not sure how interesting this topic is for your people, but a second native channel for them might be a good option for you. (Have you considered this?) For example a russian dude, named Oleg has an english channel VanTourist with 26 thousand subscribers, but his russian channel has 4 times that. Biggest native Italian youtubers (Yari Ghidone, Camperado i 3 nomadi) have about 135 thousand subscribers, non native english speaking like Norvegian Xplorer 90 thousand.

    • @Martin_Meramdzhiev
      @Martin_Meramdzhiev Месяц назад

      @@MYRIADS75 honestly, to be fair - I'm not sure because of the torsion bar suspension combined now with the AL-KO suspension - it became stiffer, especially while crossing speed bumps. Maybe if I have used only the AL-KO suspension would have been enough- I know I used the correct model 1000kg, where the caravan is 750kg, but still I was hoping to be more softer.
