We are two people in love with each other and the world. We hope to bring it a little closer to you and help you fall in love with it too.
We the hope to inspire you to reach out and grab a hold of it yourself. Please follow us as we capture the glory of the world and ALL it's inhabitants. We are new to this blogging/vlogging world and still have a lot to learn, but we will walk through this journey together. We are extremely excited for the future with you.

We are the Booysens, Altus and Celeste. We are from the Gauteng province in South Africa. Together we do seasonal farm work in the USA. It allows for us to have a few months off each year to do what we love most, which is travelling together..

Wodehouse Peak Hiking Trail, Golden Gate Highlands National Park
We had such a great hike with our dear friends.
The Wodehouse Trail was a bit more of a challenge than we thought. Although not too long of a trail you are constantly climbing or descending with little shade. The spectacular views make it worth while though.
We suggest that you take plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat. Make sure that the weather is favourable as it can become very windy or while on top of the mountain with no quick escape.

Waterfall Trail- Tsitsikama National Park, SA.

This was such a beautiful hike, understandable that it is considered one of SA's must. This trail is the first 3km of the infamous Otter trail, which is a multi day trek along the magnificent coast. I went there about 3 weeks ago and it is beautiful there. Everyone should go there. There are dinosaur tracks just 0.8 miles from the start of the trail that goes to the highest point in Oklahoma at 4973 ft. At the high point monument turn left heading south and go to the other edge and it is really high and you can see a long way and there is a beautiful view. The Black Mesa in Oklahoma is higher than 27 States. This is a really good video. I enjoy watching it.
Good ..but you should read your subtitles. .or written interpretations lots of need for improvement.

What you shared was very mature and well-balanced. Sometimes it is difficult to talk about the problems with a place that you love. I have one group of friends who "sugar coat" it and say everything is great (which leaves visitors vulnerable and naive), and others who focus too much on the danger to the point that no one would want to come to South Africa (allowing fear to dominate you). You hit the sweet spot of sharing "street smart" skills and evasive driving skills that are very useful in any area of the world with street crime, and once those skills are mastered , then the country can really be enjoyed.
I was in Cape Town, South Africa last year. Such a beautiful country, the scenery is amazing especially route 44...
You describe those criminal behaviors in such a cool tenor that I feel like I wanna pass right through those street carnivals. With that broken glass sound, I must say this video became very cryptic and straight from Hollywood. OMG! I appreciate your honesty and straightforwardness.

Our family was driving on a random gravel road near Despatch and we had a rock thrown through our driver side window . I still have a scar on my forehead to remind me . Rather go to safe countries like Australia or the Pacific Islands for a holiday . So many White South Africans say that because they have never experienced any violence or crime in SA ,that it is a safe country . Fake news !!! Razor wire and electric fencing around your house in SA tells a different story .
I really want to go to SA this year but the murder of the Ukranian last month is really scaring me... Where did you say to leave the Laptop while talkig about a car? Boot?

We did this trip around Feb of 2017. We don't have a 4x4 now, hope to get a Jimny again in the future. Feels like we are missing out ton too much. Which vehicle did you use?
@@booysensbeyond5265 Just a standard Nissan 2.7d Hardbody 4x4. My editing software is Filmora. Camara mostly my phone, and gopro hero 3, gopro hero 5. Yours??
@@theexperimentalcqdx4208 during this video, it was actually pre-videorapy for us hehe. We just made a few clips with a phone to show our friends and later made a little clip. Now we shoot with two of the SonyA6xxx series. Also have a GoPro Hero 5 Black. Used to edit on Power Director 15/16, but starting to learn Adobe Premier Pro for editing.
@@booysensbeyond5265 The only reason I didn't move to Premier was the rental issues suck.
@@theexperimentalcqdx4208 it does. Really sucks but it is better for image stabilization than Power Director.
