It takes a lot of light for the rolling shutter effect to work and provide the illusion of string oscillation we're after. Where do you Get the laser speakers?
We removed the speaker from a guitar amp cabinet then placed it in a plastic bag, stretched the plastic then glued small mirrors to it. Laser pointers target the mirrors and beams end up on a screen or wall.

It does. I’ve tried to trace the audio signal on a scope to run a Fourier transform, see the dominant frequencies. Maybe for a next video!

Yeah mirrors usually don’t attenuate laser power significantly… but can change power density (laser spot size at given distance) if mirror is not flat: beam gets focused too much and that can be a hazard. Just keep laser power under 5 mW at home and no burning anywhere! Wear adapted goggles. Be safe!

Common groceries plastic bag… I tried with paper tissue, not vibrating enough. Didn’t really experimented yet with various plastic tensions but I guess tighter would require higher acoustic energy for same visual effect.

Hey, hi! So I was just sitting around, and suddenly I remembered this song from way back when ( I am 58) , so I listened to the original a few times, looked for an extended version ( found it), then because I am a CRAPPY guitar player, I searched for guitar covers. I really like your guitar work, I like where you switch to picking, but most of all I like where you play with confidence, confidence that leads to emotion. the other guitar covers I heard (at least so far) are good but they only feature chords, so I like your interpretation. The vocals you seem caught between your natural voice and falsetto, and the transition between the two is too rough, so I think you need to find a different chord to play it in. But overall, I like it.
