I live in #1 near the District but this passed summer was beyond ridiculously hot. Uninhabitable !! 111 days at 100 degrees at 1AM 🤷‍♂️💯

Las Vegas has never been a place to raise a family. The only reason I moved there in 1999 was the weather. However, I left in 2018 because it became too expensive and too few job opportunities. When corporations bought up all the apartments and mobile home parks and doubled the rent it was time to leave. I moved to Dallas Texas because of family and now own property and live without debt. Unfortunately the humidity and freezing winter temperatures are unbearable. If Vegas had its shit together and had a reasonable cost of living, I would move back there. By the way, the dry heat in Vegas doesnt feel as bad as Texas heat with horrible humidity.

Henderson is the best place to be in Las Vegas. My house is in this video lol. Henderson has EVERYTHING. You do NOT want a big lot in Las Vegas. We have parks everywhere that are VERY nice you will not be in your rock yard a lot.

It’s way too hot and getting worse and no rain. Feels like living on an exoplanet especially since the disconnect with the rest of country except sports and news. Way too much influenza especially in the hotels and casinos. Every winter I’m sick half the time with the flu. Yes wife and daughter work on strip and always have a flu/cold

The price you are reporting are misleading. Those prices are just basic or starting prices by the time you go there you will find yourself with $100,000 added to the listed prices.😢

I currently live in Los Angeles. I plan on relocating to either Las Vegas or Phoenix by the end of 2025. This video was indeed helpful and informative. The heat is beyond ridiculous and to make matters worse is they talk about the heat but their actions don’t match. Why does the bus charge a fare when there is a heat warning especially during the day. They run late and if you don’t have the money you get booted off back into the heat

Nevada sucks ~ unconstitutional laws and selective laws Rich don’t get charged but others do. Sin city allows prostitution all thru their state and everywhere you go theirs a dumb street walker Or atmosphere hooker trying to solicit you. Once you’re off the strip it’s San Bernardino a desert town with extreme heat in the summer ,with scorpion invasions ,some of the worst heath care in the nation , some of the worst schools in the nation , high crime , drunk drivers , catalytic converter thefts , cops only give a shit about tourists and so does the local and state government, overpriced housing , high rents no rent control , lots of homeless but other than that it’s great

Alot of reasons. People and kids getting killed running stop signs and red lights all the time. Crime increasing all over the valley. 115 degrees for a month straight. Unemployment fairly high last year. Oh and unfriendly people for the most part. There are "pockets" of friendly people but for the most part your neighbors will rarely talk to you. So if you enjoy being isolated most of the time (unless you have lots of money to gamble , party and go out to eat or travel), Or have family who live here, you will feel very isolated here.

I moved here in Henderson from San Francisco almost 20 years and I love it here. It is the desert so it can get very hot in the summer. You have to be smart and don't go out in the middle of the day during the summer. I don't know what this guy is talking about.

The HOA is 100 - for the gated community and being a part of Sunstone. Definitely worth it. I just bought the Nora and my backyard faces the beautiful bike path. I can’t wait to move in in January. Gorgeous community and elementary schools right next door with amazing amenities all around.

Vegas is overpriced and over-rated. Do yourself a favor and avoid that desert dump.
