    My 12-yo Saint Bernard was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in December. I’m trying all sorts of alternative treatments in addition to the vet-prescribed painkillers. What a cruel, awful disease. It’s hard to believe in 2025 we don’t have some sort of cure for any cancer.

    Well garlic can cause anemia when used in any form on cats so…also Castrol and neem oil would be the top remedy…1ml neem oil to 10ml of Castrol oil. 3-5 drops x2 daily for a week, then off for a week. Then continue until 21 days have elapsed because of the mites life cycle. Alternating one week of application and a week of no application.

      Turmeric dosage is typically calculated based on your pet’s weight: Small dogs or cats (under 20 lbs): Start with 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per day. Medium dogs (20-50 lbs): Start with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per day. Large dogs (50+ lbs): Start with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per day.

      Since the symptoms are severe and he is not eating or drinking, these natural solutions may not be ideal for him (as he will not eat them). A visit to your local vet should help get more immediate emergency care.

    I dont see how a mortar & pestle will grind avocado peel into a paste. I think a food processor would be more efficient. Would have liked to see a demo. Also didn't need five minutes of exposition before the topic started. But thank you for the tips!

      Yes a food processor also works well, if it does not mash it up enough you can always finish the mashing with the mortar and pestle.

    I agree twice my mastiff has had giradia twice...both times acquired at dog parks. My dog recently ate another dogs diarrhea at a dog park. Within 3 days my dog was so sick. Smelly diarrhea yellow in color with mucus. Its so hard to get rid of. Like lice...you have to sanitize everything. Why would someone bring their dog to a dog park knowing their dog has diarrhea? Never again! Dog parks are out. Sadly because other dog parents can't keep in mind...not to take their dogs to the dog park when their sick with diarrhea.

    Hello, Do you have any tips for removing ear mites that come up from the ear canal to the surface of the inner ear? I'm having a hard time removing the many tiny black spots that settle near the hairs at the entrance of the ear, even when rubbing. I’ve tried using coconut oil, green tea, and apple cider vinegar with cotton pads and cotton swabs, but it’s still difficult. Sometimes I give up after a few minutes because my cat isn’t very cooperative and won’t tolerate being held in place against his will for more than 15 minutes. I'm also afraid to hurt him by rubbing too much or too hard the same spot.

  • @spookycupcake4943

    Hello, Currently, it has been 3 days since I started putting 5 drops of a mixture of olive oil and coconut oil into each of my cat's ears, into the canal, once a day. I intend to continue for 7 days, then stop for 7 days, and repeat the same procedure for another 7 days. I would like to know what you think of this mixture, dear doctor. I know that in your video, you mentioned olive oil, so I’m not sure if adding coconut oil is a good idea. Do you think it is beneficial? I would also like to know if you would recommend infusing a clove of garlic into this oil mixture before using it. Moreover, I’ve noticed that every time I put this mixture into my cat’s ears, the inside becomes red, and the ears feel warm to the touch. Please let me know your thoughts, as this is very important and I'm afraid I'm hurting my cat

    Hello dear, what do you think about neem oil for cats ? I Google it and seems like it's toxic. Yet another veterinarian on youtube recomended it.

    • @Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care
      @Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care 26 дней назад

      Neem oil is generally safe when used topically in diluted forms, but ingestion or high doses can be toxic, especially for cats and small dogs. To use it on the fur as a spray you can use a few drops of neem oil in water and mild soap avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth.

    • @spookycupcake4943
      @spookycupcake4943 26 дней назад

      @Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care Hello Dr. thank you for responding to my comment. I would like to know what you think about using a soap with permethrin 1% w/w on a cat. In the end, I decided to take my cat to the vet because I noticed he was losing fur, and I suspected he might have scabbies. It turns out he does indeed have scabbies. My vet sold me this soap and recommended washing him with it three times a week for a month. However, once I got home, I did some research and found that it is widely stated on the internet that permethrin is extremely toxic to cats.

    • @Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care
      @Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care 15 дней назад

      @@spookycupcake4943 I am surprised your vet recommended this soap to you as cats don't have the necessary enzymes to break this ingredient down and will lead to poisoning. As an alternative, Neem oil has anti-parasitic properties and can be used in diluted form to soothe the skin and combat mites. However, it should be used sparingly and with caution. I hope this helps!

    • @spookycupcake4943
      @spookycupcake4943 14 дней назад

      @@Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care Hello Dr, I hope you're doing well. I wish you and your family a happy and prosperous New Year. Thank you for your response; you’re lovely, and I truly appreciate you. 🥰 I'll give you more détails because I'm confused too. When I visited the vet, the doctor informed me that my cat had scabbies. He administered an injection of 2% ivermectin. The vet also prescribed a 1% permethrin soap to be used 3 times a week for 1 month and ear drops containing permethrin as well, to be applied twice daily for 1 week. On the third day of the ear drop treatment, I bathed my cat for the first time using the prescribed soap. Towards the end of the bath, I noticed his legs trembling, but I didn’t realize it was because of the soap. I thought he was scared of the water, as I’d never bathed him before. Later that evening, I started researching and discovered that permethrin is extremely toxic to cats. I immediately stopped the treatments prescribed by my vet. My cat remained unusually sleepy, which was unlike him, as he is typically very playful. He also ate and drank much less than usual. After a week, his condition hadn’t improved, which began to worry me. Fearing dehydration might worsen his condition, I started feeding him fluids using a syringe-a mix of chicken broth, honey, turmeric, and coconut water-about 40 mL throughout the day. I also fed him boiled chicken breast daily. I noticed improvement after just 1 day, and by the third day, it seemed like he was back to his usual self. When I confronted the vet, on the phone, about the medications he prescribed, he claimed that small doses of permethrin are safe for cats. He said he regularly uses these medications on cats without any issues and suggested that my cat’s health state was due to something else. He asked me to bring my cat back to the clinic, but by then, I had lost trust in him and I also couldn’t afford another visit to the vet. Regarding my cat’s ears, the vet did not examine the black residue under a microscope but said it was just dirt and not an ear infection. Despite this, he prescribed the antibiotic ear medication. I doubt the vet’s diagnosis of the ears because, one, he didn't use a microscope, and two, when he cleaned them, there was a large amount of black residue, even though I had already removed a significant amount beforehand while treating my cat with olive oil and garlic at home. Currently, my cat is doing well. Thanks to God. As for the scabbies, it seems to have been cured by the ivermectin injection, as he no longer loses fur, and hair has started regrowing in the previously bald spots. Regarding the ears, I see a little bit of black residue, but it might just be dirt. However, I see my cat scratching his ears sometimes. Maybe once or twice a day. In case he also had ear mites, do you think the ivermectin injection could cure it as well ? I hope it can.

    I have a 18 month golden doodle with this problem, we rescued him from a situation where he was cooped up in an apartment, He now has a large fenced yard, and he is very anxious and runs around a lot with his head down like he is following a scent or something, The vet gave him antibiotics and wanted to schedule him to be neutered, I wanted to get his jelly like stool situation taken care of first to have him in the best physical shape before he had a surgery, Would neutering him help with his anxious behavior? Therefore, help with his stomach issues? Love this warm gentle guy so much and want to get it right. Thank you. ❤

    My cat has a real problem he got a spike up his nose from one of the bushes nearby which I tried to remove. He is a short legged flat-faced cats a beautiful unusual looking cat and I fell in love with him instantly. I have three black strays I've now brought him inside he has got an infection in his nose and now seems to have got what appears to be a cold he's sneezing and struggling to breathe although I'm clearing his nostrils as much as possible. I've just had him in a steamy shower room train to help with his breathing. He is sneezing as I speak. I took him to the PDSA where they gave him stuff for fleas and some penicillin which I didn't really want to give him and is not the easiest to administer as his mouth is unusually small. The PDSA are not great in my opinion I've used them over the years and kind of let me down every time? I don't know what to do for this boy he's clearly suffering and I don't have the money to take him to the conventional Vet. The vet didn't even take him out of the cat carrier and said let's hope the spike in his face works it's way out?? It's breaking my heart listening to him trying to breathe any tips please x

      Our PIPTOPET mushroom comes in mother tincture form which (to my knowledge) is unique and is not found on other natural pet product stores. As for our other mushrooms, these are packaged individually, not blended and recommended depending on each pet's specific needs. I think the difference is that pet wellbeing sells a blend of several mushrooms together.

      I'm so very sorry to hear this! Puppies are more sensitive and can dehydrate or turn for the worst faster since their immune system is not get fully developed. I think a quick check by your local vet would be the best first step. Then it would be good to strengthen the immune system and strength with natural products.

    Listening to this I do think my oldest cat had it awhile ago. I think it went away on its own.

      Yes some dogs do this from excitement, no need to treat them in those cases. It's just a happy response.

    I lost my boxer dog last year due to bone cancer. It’s a very difficult time as they can’t really express the pain. Just be with them during this time. They need all the love and patience.
