This is what I've been playing with, a weird and very different lamp!!!! Made from a block of maple and mahogany squares band sawn apart two ways as shown with steamed ash hoops on top.

I made this in 2011 and its still going strong with third grandson.

The Baden Powell Project is the restoration and public use of a unique and marvelous fishing smack. She is unique - the only double-ended vessel of her type in existence and built in 1900. Inspired by David Roys sculptures I had to reverse engineer it and it look hours of experimentation and thought. Mechanism and how it works is at the end! It includes 7 magnets, 35 lead weights, negator (constant force) spring, low friction bearings and grease.

I've tried to make this Tudor, Dolls, Miniature, House as authentic as possible. I've been making all of this over the last few years, covid has motivated me to finish making the last few items and to make this video. Let me know what you think!
