Leveling kit on 2011 suburban
Просмотров 21 тыс.6 лет назад
I bought a level kit built by lightning products named Thor from Ebay. It is built well but was supposed to be a 2.5" lift but I ended up with 3". It was too high and the suspension was maxed out so i removed it and put on a different one. Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 16

2000 suburban brake upgrade
Просмотров 9 тыс.7 лет назад
This is for entertaining purposes only. This is a brake upgrade taking the brake hardware From the gmt900 and bolting it to the gmt800. I have to use a rim 17" and above. I used a 2011 suburban as the parts model and bolted it to my 2000 suburban. It has helped a lot.

fun with the kids, making orange juice soda

We are making orange juice soda with a little bit of baking soda. The citric acid in the orange juice reacts with the baking soda making a gas known as carbon dioxide. Do not use too much baking soda or it will taste too bitter.

We just inherited the same model! How’d it go?
Reminds me of open season
Can you provide the part numbers?
i could picture an earlier incarnation of myself driving this thing most days.
Thanks for your valuable input. It is without a doubt, a very nice kit. Will be tackling this momentarily.
I found my answer on the master cylinder. I had not seen this video before I asked.
Did you have to change the master cylinder?
It does Not shift!
Runs full throttle all the time?
Cheap bastards. Supply the correct parts for Pete's sake.
Basically a crude CVT.
You can remove that excessive steering play in 5 minutes. Smooth shift into 2nd? That's because there was no shift into 2nd. There was no 2nd.
Anyone know any difference between 2007 and and 2011 burban calipers? I work at a Autozone and those 2 years show different brake pads but the caliper part # same except!! 2011 has a A at the end
I’m new to the whole snowblower community. Does it still require gas for the cord connection?
How to install the agitator for the toro 518 ze
Thats why there is directions
Thank you so very much. I truly appreciate you sharing. I'll check out some of your other videos.
Im going to nbs knuckles and calipers on my obs and from the looks of things there is so many options for calipers for the nbs.
Is that a Dana 44?
This video came up just after I rewatched the one you ended saying, "The next time you see this engine, the head will be on." False advertising! Pretty funny, the way that worked out. I'm playing with a 1940 248 and a 1952 263, each in decrepit 1940 Specials which have sat since 1984 or 1985, ("Life intervened.") and gone through two or three floods up to the headlights. The hood over the 263 leaked, the valve cover rusted through near the oil fill cap, and the rockers rusted tightly to the shaft. With nothing to lose, I heated and hammered and got things moving, disassembled, cleaned and back in what I think/hope will be working order. The 248, never turned over in the 35 years I've had it, looked much better when I removed its (unperforated) valve cover. The rockers are all free on the shaft, and after removing them, I checked for stuck valves by bumping them with the side of my fist - they're all free. Go figure.
Great video my friends new subscriber. Im also working on a Buick with a 263 motor all the rods are bent . Do you know what the sizes are on your motor because Im trying to figure it out
Have you found out yet? I have the push rods out of my '52 263 now, and can measure one if you still need the info. I just laid them out in order, haven't cleaned them up yet. Mine has the manual trans, so I think solid lifters. If yours has Dynaflow, probably hydraulic lifters and different pushrods. Not sure about all the "ins and outs" of these. Buick Straight-8 Milestones says "1949 (2) Hydraulic valve lifters introduced on engines equipped with Dynaflow transmissions."
is there a similar upgrade for the rear?
Add some steel braided lines and your brakes will be even better.
Daddy’s little helper 💯
I have a 2005 rear wheel drive Suburban. Will this upgrade work for me?
Open your glove box and look at the RPO codes, find a rpo decoder so you know what system you have. It typicay starts with a J
Hello, sir. Where can I purchase this part?
I found it. shop.rareparts.com/RP28723A-28723-HD-TIE-ROD-ASSEMBLY
You do know the right way to drive a dyna flow transmission ?. You can drive around town in D but going up hills and accelerating involves shifting into L up to 60 MPH. Look it up if you don't believe me it helps I own a 63 buick lesabre with a dyna flow.
Thanks for the video I have a 49 and the same kit it looks like I have to drill out bottom spindles and steering arm, did you?
In your kit you should have gotten two spacers 5/8 that go behind the castle nut and after the spindle washer.
It’s well know GM cut corners and those brakes on the 99-06 trucks are spongy and trash. The 07 is a MASSIVE improvement. It gave me the perfect excuse to have a weekend project and keep my wife from bugging me all day.
I ordered the kit for my truck and the spindle washers were missing also. I called Speedway customer service and they sent them out N/C. Great kit!
curious as to why you didnt run the brake line through the frame?
What are the benefits of the dynaflow transmission?
None.
It is a primitive automatic transmission, but it is well engineered, highly reliable and smooth. Gas mileage is awful though.
*ONE SMOOTH LONG GEAR*
@@jigrodrigues they had pretty much perfected it by 1959 and then, with proper gearing they could get pretty amazing mileage. Also they had tremendous traction on slippery surfaces. It was a shame they phased them out in favor of the turbo 400 in 1964. GM wanted to start merging their car divisions together so started using some of the same components. By the 1990's the only difference between Buicks, Pontiacs, Olds, Chevys, etc... were pretty much cosmetic. I think one thing that did the dynaflow in was that without a hard shift, they didn't really feel like they were accelerating very fast, but in fact they were. I've had many of them and they were great for passing and not too shabby off the line
Smoothness and that's basically it apart from reliability/simplicity (these are almost just giant torque converters)
Cool looks like it can be done for about$200
The 5.3 would have put me to sleep , boring ... Everybody's brother does those kind of swaps ... No Sir you made the right choice , dare to be different ... Awesomeness !
Great video, I saw the same issue with my Toro 3521 Snowblower and the metal choke is more popular model, nice to know I can swap the choke to make it work!
I have the ZR, the recoil only model. Just started it up for the first time. Added gas to it and after 1 pull fired right up. My hat is off to this Chinese made engine. All I do is change the oil with synthetic 5w-30 and good premium gas (now i will try RV, ethanol free this year). I run the gas out at the end of the year.
@XBOXPlayGuy Toro 418 are Lonchin engines which is Chinese engine. Made in China.
@TAC yes, they never made these with Briggs engines lol... they are all chinese engines.
My 1941 Buick had a 248 cubic inch straight eight.
Hello problem i have pushrods all blocked only one no blocked
Rock N Roll Baby you will need to remove the rocker shaft, take off all the rocker arms and clean out the passage ways
0-60 one minute three to stop .word sonomatic sound familiar.had stick 47conv.the 42s had twin carbs .flathead Packard beat pants off them .dad had one .the 57century 0-60 6.8sec . stock.we raced one.😀
I love packards.
Thanks for the video!!! I just did this on my wife's suburban, the difference is amazing!
Could I have the last 8 of your newer truck to order correct parts? Parts people are confused of different options.
...Dynaflow doesn't shift in drive...torque converter does all the work...
nice work ,, have u make the master cylinder conversion too ..
Beautiful truck! I have a 59 longbed Chevy fleetside. If I could find the GMC, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
Do you now have 2.5" in the front and 2" in the rear?
just purchased one, looking forward to the adventure
So.. Was it significant, or at least noticeable?
I just did this on my 2004, it's a HUGE difference. It stops SOOOO much better now.
Bend the push rod back no worries
I am sure you know by now, but you should have quite a bit of oil flow much sooner, and certainly more volume of oil ! You may be dealing with a worn oil pump, but I don't want to give you had advise here. Can you please give me some idea of where your oil pressure is right now ? May even have worn bearings giving that symptom. And, of course, you may be 100£% correct with your thinking a blocked oil passageway.
