Possibly the same tanuki as seen earlier in the year but now with a mate. Still has scabies but we are working on a treatment plan so hopefully will be able to return their health to normal.

    Can I learn the steps?

      @zassonouka 7 месяцев назад

      Yes you can, you can buy the "chimneys" from your local home centre or if living outside Japan you'll have to improvise. Have a look at this thread www.japansimplelife.com/viewtopic.php?t=84 that covers the individual steps

      Can't believe we're already seeing bees so early in the year but hopefully can take advantage of that and capture a swarm.

      Yes they did, several courses of mite treatment had his fur growing back normally.

      Can't say for sure but just recently a similar looking Tanuki turned up on the farm and when we called to it it came running over towards us so may be the same one. We've now found a source for chewable ivermectin tablets for small dogs so hoping to buy some and try them out on it. Will post a video shortly

      Sorry, I should have added that once it warms up in spring we don't see many tanuki as they seem to move down into the rice paddies where there are lots of frogs and bugs to catch. Then as autumn turns to winter they come back around our farm looking for food.
