The only thing that concerns me is that in 2024 Vivid Voltage booster boxes were marked as sold out for a week or two on the Pokemon Center site, then all of sudden they found ten more pallets (or whatever they found)? I believe something similar happened with Battle Styles booster boxes at least once as well. From looking at some of comments history it looks like it happened around May 19, 2024. You can see my comment on on PokeJace's channel at that time.

Kind of amazing how well-off and wealthy people are if they are economically comfortable enough to blow money on this kind of mass produced stuff. I try to be a collector of ETB's only and find that I don't want to keep buying a new box every 2-months or so for over $100 or more each. So I'm going to sit and wait for prices to come down or not buy anymore and sell what I've got and be free of this collection.

Where I am in the UK, Battle Styles is sold out on the PC website and Vivid Voltage isn't even on the site at all. The only Booster boxes are Temporal Forces and Paradox Rift. I get a case from each set + a 4 pack of PC ETBs and just leave it sealed. I cash out when a BB or ETB is 3x what I paid for it. Most recent example is Fusion Strike. I got BB's for £110 each a few years back and with the boom after new years they were selling on ebay for £360. (ebay UK has 0% fees for private sellers). Sold 2 BB's to cover the inital cost of the case and when ever I sell the others that is pure profit.

At the peak hype of this boom investors are buying the scraps of Pokemon Center it worries me a little taking a position in any of those products it really will be interesting to see if anyone will pay up for these in the future and how long it will take to make it to enough profit in the item to justify fees. I think a better play would be paying $200-$220 for an evolving skies ETB they probably will be $300 by the end of the summer. When is the last time someone bought a Vivid Voltage pack on a rip n ship not in the last year and half probably. I’m targeting more under the radar sword and shield plays.
