This might me the strangest question ever: You seem to use silhouette cameos and you have multiple. Why do you choose silhouette over Cricut? How are you liking it? Why get multiple machines instead of something like a Roland? and have you ever used or considered using the auto feeder? I ask all of this because I started my business on a Cricut maker a few months back. The Cricut is super frustrating so I was looking at the cameo 5 with the auto feeder so I can scale up my business since there are already stores interested in wholesale and just prepping for a single market with the Cricut made me want to throw it against wall. I know you also have a separate sticker cutting business so you seemed like the perfect person to ask (so sorry for the long comment)

I think that you still should put them for sale. it would be a good idea to put a video on the listing showing how to use the charm and place the pieces in, aswell as an image of what not to do (to avoid consumer error). I also think the warp on the charm is due to weather and temperature, so disclaim that on your listing and i would personally not do refunds on that item. i know it sounds harsh but with disclaimers and instructions its rly not your fault and therefore you shouldnt have to refund. In terms of the pieces, for my own peace of mind i would just do each shaker with 1 or 2 sets of a theme for that specific charm. (probably making no sense to you ahah) example: 6 pieces of cottage or nature theme for the green bottle; 6 pieces of witchy or night sky for purple bottle (hope this makes sense). With this method, not only will u always be way more aware of your stock and you will still be able to sell them online, but you are also giving some sort of choice to your customers.

It might work better if you do the potion bottles release in December, since then at least heat won't be an issue anymore, if that was actually the cause (although I rather think it's human error on the consumer side to be honest).

I got a shaker from another artist that came warped, the glue did not hold and pieces fell out. Lost some pieces but it was moisture that got in there. I was wondering if the glue was not good enough. I used super glue and had no issues after….

This is my home con, and honestyl I don'tsee a reason for artists to even use the dealers alley. It seems to be more the place people buy retro merch, props, bags, etc, so I think it may just be better to be in the place where everyone is looking to buy art in the artist alley. I mean theoretically maybe they think that your booth will stand out more for not being surrounded by other artists, but I think the dealer's alley may only be really profitable for figure resellers and big merch vendors, and the artist alley is better because that's where everybody sort of goes to at the end to mass scout for prints and keychains they want to buy. If and when I eventually get a booth at FanX, I will definitely just buy an artist alley spot. Also yes, it is very common for people to stick around without buying, or waiting until the last day to buy prints. I do it myself as I never have the budget to buy all I want, so I end up just taking a lot of business cards and photographic the QR codes to artis' websites.

If you don't feel like putting the shakers online, then don't, especially if the logistics is going to be a headache you don't want to deal with. Part of the experience of the shakers is choosing your own pieces and playing the part of being at an apothecary, so let these keychains be an exclusive to your convention circuit. Not everything you create has to go on an online shop and it makes finally getting them special. Also, that way people buying them know exactly what they're getting at the moment they're getting them.

If you’re uncomfortable putting it online. Don’t.

I think if you feel confident enough in the shaker keychains to sell them in person, then you should be confident enough to sell them online.

I love my shaker charms that I got from the kickstarter! Would love to see them in the online shop space, as long as they don't cause too much of a headache for you.

hmmm I wonder if it's possible to get mini hard mailers to press the shaker flat or to wrap the shaker with a rubber band to keep the two pieces together in transit? or maybe you can switch the ball chain for a clasp with a plastic keychain connector clip (i think that's what they're called?) which is removable but snaps together at the hole keeping the two acrylic pieces together? it's not as pretty as a ball chain though

Woo, I really do hope you do the filler stickers! Bc I have the same issue in my stickerbook where I have gaps and would love to buy stickers to fill in those areas. Especially so I can prevent myself from spending 5+ minutes doing 1 single page so it filled enough.

can use a drop of superglue on the edge or uv resin...options for the buyer thatr has the issue

What is this calender planner you are using here? 5:47 Also just wondering, did you ever give your niece a LeSpirit x Bluey sticker from that convention? I think a shop update exclusive sticker could be cute for 2 weeks to hopefully reach people on a biweekly pay period. Is there an insulated bubble mailer or packaging that you could test/use?

With fabric handmade plush it’s hard to do cutesy displays with products so big, but I make do with what I got. Tablecloth and banner combo comes in clutch and The products speak for themselves! I totally do not stand up behind my display unless there’s a crowd and/or it’s busy! I’m sewing a lot at the booth to make more product, to give my hands something to do, and show that yes, they are handmade. Seeing me make things helps people connect that. Absolutely always find something you could improve. If you do poorly because a pole is there, sure that’s to blame, but it’s not super helpful to just blame that. So what could have been done better! What should I have made instead. Never stop growing!
