No way! I’m dutch speaking (from belgium) and I can help my self in french too. Meanwhile 3 years studying with Duolingo, private teacher (one hour a week), cell phone is in spanish and I follow Netflix in Spanish. I don’t know what you mean by Fluent but to speak fluent you need about 2000 hours (for nearby languages such as Spanish, frensh, italian, german, dutch, portugese, ….). If one studies for one hour a day = 365 hours a year … you will need six years. Meanwhile my Spanish (after 3 years) is level B1 (almost B2 but still need 5 months Duolingo I think). So, I don’t believe this. Advertising for RUclips followers or following lessons online … don’t promise the sky. To everone, you will have to work and to consist and then you will speak a language.

I'm thinking about buying your class. I'm trying to learn and my life is very busy so I'm trying to cut out things that are a waste of time. I use rocket Spanish andi love it but I also want something to push me to the next level. I'm torn on what to do though

Listening to music and tv shows in Spanish just left me confused. I did it for 3 months and used Spanish speaking apps to follow. I learnt nothing and remembered none of it. I could not understand a single word even after 3 months. So many Spanish teachers say the same thing but none of it has worked for me. Maybe I just can’t learn languages 🤷🏻‍♂️

I really liked this also. It would be nice if you had some where you speak a tad slower so I can process and absorb the content better. Maybe a little delay between sentences would be nice, just my opinion 😊

I'm learning Spanish via Duolingo, and for some odd reason you don't learn conjegation on there until after you've finished the first few *units* so I struggle with it. If I were to say "would I say" in español, could I say "Yo dicería"? This is a common question I ask my partner who is latino and learning the language with me since most of his family speaks it (he's definitely ahead of me though since he's grown up at least hearing it). I would like to be able to ask it in spanish because I want to be able to say as many relevant common phrases as possible.

It is much easier to understand it if you include a direct object and the preposition ‘to’ in the English. (And then, you need to also learn the other Spanish indirect object pronoun ‘se’ (which complicates things a little - but that’s Spanish for you!) Ella le dio una manzana. She gave him an apple. Ella se la dio. She gave it ‘to him’. Les enseñó español. He taught them Spanish. Se lo enseñó. He taught it ‘to them’. Ella le dijo un secreto. She told him a secret. Ella se lo dijo. She told it ‘to him’ The concept of the indirect object is easier when you can rephrase the sentence with the preposition ‘to’ - and in Spanish, the preposition ‘a’ is used with indirect noun objects (and pronouns in certain cases.) ‘A Juan le gustan las manzanas’ ‘Apples are pleasing to Juan.’ Juan likes apples. ‘Le gustan las manzanas.’ Apples are pleasing to him. He likes apples. ‘A él le gustan.’ To him they are pleasing. He likes them.
