Scots will not get their country back until foreign backed political parties and media are removed. That means decolonisation. At present all attempts to establish and promote Scottish sovereignty is swamped by UK state dominance for which there is no legal basis.

Contrary to general thought - Westminster, Conservatives, Labour or even Thatcher are NOT the problems. Until Scotland is run in ways that will improve education, health, local services and internal / external investment by an Indy party, there will be no change. The general public are not concerned about political theory, events of 600 to 800 years ago or divisive actions - the issues are housing, communications, access to services, finances, transport and so on and continuing to blame abody else is not showing any leadership. As for TRUMP - his way of working is simple - identify a problem - take charge if it's important to him - drive a solution. He doesn't live in the past and watter on about 1783, the US civil war or such - just drives to a solution and that's where the SNP have failed; Their lack of honesty and transparency; incompetent, hubristic, arrogant attitudes and corrupt practices and their constant failure to listen to the Electorate and not focussing on issues that matter to everyday people.

@@blackislepeastoo given the lacklustre amount of money scotgov receives from westminster and the fact that scotgov has very limited tax raising powers which when they use them all hell breaks loose and snp are BAAAAAD BUGGERS for doing it plus the fact that the block grant is reduced somewhat in real terms each year by westminster its hardly surprising that more is not being done, but on the same note snp still manage to offer the best social contract of any political party in the uk, its health service is the best in the uk, its educational attainment is also the best, its investment in infrastructure is by far better than any unionist party dared invest in scotlands infrastructure, new schools, refurbished schools, new dual carriageways, new train routes, new hospitals, over 100,000 new affordable and social housing built, major harbour improvements, fantastic renewables industry creating thousands of new jobs and businesses, our technical services industry is also flourishing, whisky production is at its highest creating much more rural employment , (just a pity its westminster that gains the financial benefits of it and not scotland, ) in all scotland has never been so busy in all manner of ways, contrast that with how scotland was before devolution and before snp came to be top dog in the scottish parliament and you will soon realise the massive benefit snp has brought to scotland and its people, yes they have not won us our freedom yet, but given the massive changes globally over the last ten years politically and the upheaval of wars and pandemics creating massive trading problems for everyone plus the one fact that everone seems to ignore...call it the elephant in the room if you will..and that is OURSELVES! We sit at home banging away at the keyboard like some raging warrior that hates conflict blaming all and sundry on the snp not realising in fact that if we actually did more ourselves to persuade our neighbours, freinds, relations, workmates and indeed any else we come into contact with perhaps the pro indy figures would be much higher than just 50% ! We sit around in our cosy little bubbles throwing blame at all and sundry and expecting SNP to do everything for us! well snp has been telling us for a decade and more that it WON'T be them that wins us our independence but US the electorate ! do people not realise that snp is a very small party in terms of numbers compared to westminsters labour and conservative parties, they just don't have the manpower to do everything or the budget either, remember they have to pacify the other 50% of scots that support the union too, they cannot be seen to be wasting taxpayers money on strnenghthening the argument for independence, all hell would break loose from all sides of the house if they did, they have a very limited and donated budget from which to work with, those donations mostly come from subs and the odd business, they certainly don't enjoy donations from global enterprises made up of millions in order to buy favour somewhere down the line, SNP have and are doing all they can and could do, if we were to garner more support for them and the idea of independence then perhaps all our hopes and dreams of independence might be easier , as things stand we seem to be sticking the knife into the only lifeline we have of securing a better future for all of us in scotland, with or without snp to fight for our independence we still need to retain them at holyrood if only for the sake of ensuring we do not lose all the benefits we enjoy that snp gives us by utilising our budget and taxes in such a way that we pay far less for our infrastructure which includes all our social needs than anywhere else in the uk, if we foolishly turn our backs on snp it won't just be us that loses it will be every generation after us !

As I understand from that there are now two new indy parties. How bloody many do we need all trying to take votes from each other? If this movement is to get a new leader in the mould of Alex Salmond it has to be one who can bring everybody together to form a united front all pulling in the same direction. It's time the whole lot were put in a room together and made to realise what they need to do.

scotland will not get its independence anytime soon if at all,we have spent too much time deliberating and arguing amongst ourselves , falling for all the divide and conquer tactics of the uk government, and the lies and rules they laid out, times have moved on quite considerably since 2014, when we should have opted for independence, i fear that door has now been firmly bolted shut by forces outwith snp control or reach, by anonymous zionists globally who will use scotland and its natural resources for its own agenda, i think had we been an island of our own and not part of the uk at all ever we would most likely have been invaded by now just like other countries around the globe have been and had all our natural resources taken and we would no longer exsist as a country, when you look at gaza and the destruction way beyond any of our imaginations that is taking place and not even the U.N can or will do anything of substance to stop it, i think you need to ask yourselves well is there any point really in taking our cause to them at all? very unlikely they would even raise an eyebrow never mind actually do anything, they can see already how scotland is being and has always been treated as a colony, yet they do nothing, hardly a squeak comes from them, why... because they too... are controlled in everything they do by zionists around the globe, no one knows who they are exactly but they are the dictators of what will and wont happen within almost every country on the globe , our independence should have been taken by us the minute oil was struck back in the seventies, had it been so...aberdeen would be looking like dallas texas, or dubai even today, instead 80 % of it still resembles and echo's the seventies and earlier, we have missed the boat not by one decade but by five decades!! and what do we do....well we blame it all on snp don't we !!! we just wont accept any of the blame ourselves.. we let this happen on our watch.. what if devolution hadn't happened at all... what if snp did not become the biggest political party in scotland and had not taken control of our scottish goverment as was meant to happen and we were still being governed by labour or conservatives entirely ?? who would we blame then?? would we still blame alec salmond, nicola sturgeon, humza yousaf, john swinney ... probably everyone but ourselves no doubt.. we are the cause of our own defeat and the plight we now find ourselves in! we were lucky to have had and indeed have snp as our govenors at all, and lucky to be given the kind of social contract by them that no one else in the uk enjoys or indeed ever will !! little wonder then that john swinney after all that snp has done for both scotland and indeed us over the years has decided that we probably don't deserve independence given the way we turned on them in the elections....and who could blame him!! he knows the independence game is a bogey now.. we don't have a hope in hells chance of getting it anymore...we have once again rescued defeat from the jaws of victory !!! well done everybody....well done!!! the only saving grace we have is to continue voting for snp in order to continue receiving the best social contract any political party in both scotland and the uk has to offer us, one which will see our kids and our elderly receive the care and help they deserve and continue to offer us more prosperity and compassion than others in the uk currently recieve, snp are now a party for the people not for independence only.. the sooner we take that on board the sooner we can all sit down and have a grown up conversation between ourselves on whether or indeed how we gain our independence but i fear we may only end up talking amongst ourselves for another 300+ years !!

Thanks to Gordon's Ini-Car show, we are now a much better-informed Scottish nation than ever before. Although we aren't American voters, his reaction is a good one. We DO have much to consider about Scotland's current circumstances. Scotland's people recognise that London's Westminster Government is England's government; however, it also behaves as if Scotland is its colony. In future, Scotland's people can vote independently and differently from every other area in the so-called 'UK'. We are legally entitled to end this so-called 'UK'... It is NOT a voluntary Union of nations! History can tell us about England's military actions prior to the formation of "This precious Union"... This takes a reasonably short period of personal research. Thanks for your time, Ewen A Morrison

The present administration had a bipartisan bill prepared to resolve the immigration problem (group designing it was led by a republican) but Trump told his supporters to block it because he didn’t want Biden to get any credit for solving the problem. If he puts tariffs on imported goods he will smash the economy. Trump is President for two reasons. First, he will avoid prison and second he will have access to unlimited funds.
