The pass to collins left 9 seconds on the clock at the 41. You passed again and it was incomplete with 5/6 seconds. You didn’t have to burn that timeout. Run one more quick play and call the time out and go for the field goal. We’re acting like he had to burn that time out.

I think all the coaches need to play Madden/NCAA more to learn from the online community. We all know the SMART coaching call is to teach the kids to not take a TD but go down anywhere between the 15-10 yard line. #1 you give your self room for another first down, #2 GT only had 90 seconds with one timeout, #3 we could have ran the clock down by taking QB kneels to :03 to kick a 20 yard (less than 58 if my math is mathing), #4 we would have one 24-23. Why was GT okay with a 1-point win but, we seem to be to good for it?

As a Tech guy I have to compliment your team, game came down to one play. Your team looked well coached and well prepared from an outsider’s point of view. Good luck next game.

Some things never change, and one of them is that Doeren will always be mired in mediocrity. This guy gets paid way too much money to continue to come up laughingly short every season, especially after running his mouth in pre-season about pulling off 10 wins, playing for the ACC Championship, getting into the new FBS playoffs, etc. etc. etc. Your lame excuses long ago wore very thin, Doeren. Do the school, the students, and especially the old-guard alumni like myself a massive favor and tender your resignation right now. There is nothing more that needs to be said.

Not an alumnus, but a big Pack fan for 41 years. I have my reasons ;-) Having said that, this pack team is the first to have completely emotionally neutered me on caring one whit whether they win or lose. Because they are gonna lose. Why expend the emotional energy. Some objective observations on 'the game.' 1) How is it that a QB who stands 6' 6" continually throws 'knock down' balls into the arms and hands of defenders. 2) How is it the defense kept the Pack in the game, but then couldn't play well enough to save the game at the end. Worn down? Appears to me the players are giving it their all. Someone hasn't given them what they need to be a 'good team.' Anyhow, I predicted last week that there is a high likelihood this team will end the season 5 and 7. They are almost there. The Tarheels haven't had a great season either, but... This is the first season I can recall that the rivalry game will not be carried on a major network channel. This year it will be viewed only on the ACC channel. Enough said.

DD has to take us to an ACC championship game next year or he is gone, no more excuses

Offensive calls were mind boggling prior to the 4th qtr. The wind shifted as he kicked it, any of us there could tell you that but why are we losing by that much with this squad in the first place? Somethings gotta get better. Year 12. It's winning the ACC next year or you need to leave.

If Charlie Gribble doubts Marcus Hill's ability to move to the ACC from Blowing Green one more time I think I will throw up. Charlie, I don't know if any body told you but hundreds of players move up every year in the portal. Please give it a rest dude. It's a tired narrative. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. I get it. You think Marcus sucks. I think Marcus is a baller who will give your starred high school youngsters a fit.

I can’t tell if DD’s optimism is because the season is all but over or if he actually thinks he’s got a solid group coming back.

I actually want these next two bad. Win these two, and the bowl, keep some of your main pieces and build toward next season for a change, and that window is back open in 2025.

Loving the power of the midrange jumper with this year's Wolfpack squad! All of our big guards have great scoring abilities on the interior whether it be the pull-up jumper or a crafty maneuver to the basket for a layup or dunk. With five to six double figure scorers a constant with this team, and fast break opportunities a key factor in that success, we are seeing how great team chemistry effectively exploits slower paced big line-ups. Other factors we constantly see; double digit or nearly double-digit steals every game, strong 3-pt shooting (usually), great free throw shooting (SURPRISE!), phenomenal ball handling, assists, and surprising strong athleticism blocking shots and cleaning the glass.

I think Styles reminds me more of Dorn than Hellums

I started following him at Coastal Carolina and he beat BYU ranked in top 10 with Wilson at QB and was incredible passing and running ....wish the best for this guy and his future will be bright .

Crazy that Micheal said after the WCU game that State looked like a 6-7 win football team, and at the time I thought he was nuts.

It's the worst 3 hours of TV I watch all week. We suck. If we're gonna be mediocre, open up the playbook and don't be so boring.

The Pack will not beat GT and they stand a very real chance of finishing 5 and 7.
