Recognised as a pioneer of colour photography, Alex Webb is able to juxtapose gesture, colour and contrasting cultural tensions into a single beguiling frame, resulting in evocative images that elevate fractured and multilayered meanings. His book Dislocations, first published in 1998 as a limited edition accordion book with Canon Laser prints (then considered state of the art), brings together pictures from the many disparate locations over Webb’s oeuvre, meditating on the act of photography as a form of dislocation in itself.

why almost all the photos are across two pages, can't they understand you can't see the photo properly if printed that way?

An excellent book by one of the greats! Not surprising, in light of the well-known B&W work. I can't say that he "saw" differently in color, but in the selection he makes the color work. As he said, he took photographs to see what things would look like photographed. (To Beyond Words: thank you so much for the video, but you flip a bit too fast!)

Is there an error in the book? Page 9 has one image titled as 'Kits Beach, 1957' but then the same image appears at the end of the book however it is instead titled 'Toronto Centre Island, 1952'.

The best Dorothea Lange book
I'm not sure why they posted this. The book is not centered under the camera, resulting in cropped, partial views of Johansson's fine photographs. A sloppy, frustrating and disappointing video. Even at 34 seconds, it's hardly worth viewing.
