At client preference, I suggest a light trim every 2 to 3 months if someone is growing it out, but a often as 2 to 4 weeks when maintaining short men's cuts. Ultimately it's up to the client, but I don't suggest going more than 3 months without a trim.

Every 3 weeks

Whenever the fuck you want and what makes you feel a certain way and for sure the job you do factors in there too. 4 months for me or 6.

most of my customers book 5-6 weeks. I have a lot of guys that cut every 2 weeks. Some of my longer haired customers might go 5 months.

I think ideally, every 2 weeks. But no longer than a month unless you're trying to grow your hair out.

My girl charges deposit at her shop for certain services that might keep other clients from getting a service, in this situation at least you will keep that deposit and not just lose out on other business. With exceptions for rescheduling within a certain timeframe of course.

This happens to my wife all the time at her shop, she moves stuff around for people only for them to no show or no call and they expect to get in on another day. Typically those people get put at the end of the day and then eventually months out so they learn a lesson.
