Stockholm does look like a beautiful city! Would love to visit it one day. Did you do a trip report on SAS yet? I flew to Copenhagen from Newark and I would likw to hear your thoughts on their international flights . :) Eurowings does not impress me honestly.

Nice. I also flew on a transatlantic narrow body flight, also on a United 757-200 (N17128). But that was 10 years ago on the Stuttgart to Newark route, which no longer exists.

Nothing new about transatlantic flights on single aisle aircraft. I have flown on single-aisle aircraft transatlantic in every decade since the 70s.

What seat were you in and where was this flight going to?

I really like how Swiss is very accommodating and have excellent staff when dealing with unaccompanied minors. In general, I think foreign airlines are way better than those in US.

The reason Swiss is so good is because they are a part of the Lufthansa group! I would love to fly on them again soon!

Nice video! I agree fully with what you said. SWISS is terribly expensive for the poor service on the short flights. Long Haul Flights are quite ok if you are flying westbound, but if you fly to Asia/Africa, i would suggest one of the Middle Eastern Airlines.

I flew SAS from Newark to Copenhagen to Krakow. I had a very bad experience with them. The issue for me was the IFE Screens did not have much to offer (very few movie choices). Also, the food to Europe wasn’t really best. The biggest issue was them losing my baggage in Copenhagen and customer service was not really helpful. (I did get it back days later though). That’s why SAS isn’t my first choice; I’ll just stick with LOT and Lufthansa. :)

Correction: You can take either the aerotrain or mobile lounges (people movers) from the main terminal to reach A, B, C and D gate/concourse terminals in IAD. At 1:15 if you would have gone to the right and down instead of going up the electric stairs you would have been able to ride the aerotrain.

Their long haul planes are old. Entertainment was good. Legroom is good though. Their meals are good but tiny. However you can pay extra for a fancy meal (at least 5 years ago). On the flight to the US they served half a sandwich (!!!) for the snack on a 9 hour flight and a small mousse. Fortunately we had bought a cake with us.
