Is that the stock exhaust or have you changed it and is this euro 4 or5 model
@@christhomas455 it's a aftermarket exhaust just a cheap one but got a arrow exhaust coming so will change again and it's the euro 4 engine same engine used in the aprilia tbf the bike is all but an aprilia sx just odd difference lol.
@TwistedThrottle91 yeh I know it's aprilia it's same as FB mondial smx aswell . Where did you get a link pipe for it mate and do you know the diameter of the downpipe please buddy
@@christhomas455 yeah few bike's are the same tbh lol, umm I managed to get one that kinda worked out from cmpo parts but doesn't fit properly not to bad just a little leak but any leak is bad best just getting a arrow pipe from ebay or the lextek from cmpo there same size as stock end can just better sounding just need the gasket and clip, I take it you have same bike?
Sounds like 500 and then after watching it run very slow up a hill ul be crub crawling
I don't get how people say this little 125 sounds like a 500 😂 and what hill did it go slow up bc I can assure you it will nether be slow enough to be a little curb crawler that's for sure?
@TwistedThrottle91 sry mate 125 are slow I watched tge video its slow and the hills where I live cars would over take u on the way up its not a 600 its a 125 and the best 125 are fuking slow 70mph tops 0,60,14seconds etc nice bike sounds bigger than a 125 but unfortunately it's not
@cookiesfilmnetwork9937 yes 4strock 125 are slow but I've had a tad bit more then 70 lol but 2 strock 125 if you get the right ones are a fair bit more then 70 a few will push the 100 mark and if cars are overtaking you on ahill when you are doing speed limit is fucked up my bike hasn't drop below speed limit on a hill unless a car is taking a turning butyeah 125s ain't fast they are just city hoppers so don't need to be fast but for a supermoto 125 it would keep up to the so call sports 125 at top end and pass a fair few all be itat a slow push pmsl, but I still don't get why people say it sounds like a 500 as it has standard pipe with a Chinese akra rep muffler yes it's more throaty then your normal 125 and better sounding then them shit black widow noise boxes that sound like they ripping at 100mph and pass you at 20mph lol but in my opinion a 500 is way way over punching if you had said a 250 then maybe I could understand a little as they do sound similar but still tell it's not that lol but I like the slow 500 compliment 😉
@TwistedThrottle91 yes I'm 54 had a few 125 in my time yes years ago I could get my rd 125 to 95mph but 125 today all restricted and 70mph tops maybe 75 with wind behind u ,,plus ur not allowed on motorways or free ways with a 125 in the uk and some small free way u can stuck behind a lorry in the slow lane doing 60mph waiting for a mile or 2 space so u can get ur bike to 73 74mph to over take the truck if u got enough space and if u needed to get away from a situation u not and I don't like riding a motorbike when ur throttle is constantly all the way screaming the por thing trying to get some speed out of it
@cookiesfilmnetwork9937 yeah the Rd was a quick little thing you can push more out of it with a couple little mods just like the rs meto and nsr all could do 100 maybe a tad more if tuned right with few little mods, yes today's 125 are slow as they are 4 strock I've actually had 78mph on gps speedo so ain't to bad for what it is it's all about what mods ie spocket size ecu ect you have that will help with lower or higher power i changed to get more top end as was doing dual carriageway riding for work it can sit at 70mph at nearly full throttle witch I hated as I am like you not a fan of a screaming bike lol but either the English cbt (license) I can only have a 125 unfortunately for now till I get my full licence but I believe 125 are so much fun and can be more fun then a 600 ect yes they have next to no power and can put you in trouble but they ain't as bad as some people think I'd hate to get your thoughts on a 50cc pmsl now in my opinion they should be band as they are curb crawling machines haha but then my opinion is lower cc bike's that hasn't got the power to get out of trouble should be banned but I've nether had a problem overtaking a lorry just takes me a few more seconds to do so but that comes down to road sense to do at the right time but I respect the point you're putting across but yeah most 125's are used in city's so don't really need to do more then 40mph so at that speed a 125 has enough get up and go to get out of trouble.
Sounds like a 500 bro
Na man 500 would sound so much more better this is just a itty bitty 125 with a aftermarket muffler lol
nice bike
@@loki2wheels it's not a bad little bike goes well for a 4 stroke supermoto 125.
Nice video 👍 . These bikes seem great value right now . Would you recommend it for short daily commutes? And any problems with it so far for you ?? Cheers .
@@jonknee7287 hi these bike are basically aprilia I believe made in same factory just few bit's different namely brakes but this bike has been a wonderful experience, only problems I've had was down to me eg battery and sparkplug keep to standard ngk plugs, seat is uncomfortable on longer rides but as you said for short commutes it is perfect, I really can't knock it and would say go for it if you are OK with a 4 stroke supermoto speed and stance I've had 79mph on clock once going down hill (standard spocket) 78mph on dual carriageway (smaller rear sprocket) I'm no light guy at 6ft3 95kg so she'll pull nicely, I will say change standard end can as it sound's ass lol and hopefully soon I'll have a bit more grunt once I fit a chip tuner I have coming, but all in all would recommend.
@@TwistedThrottle91 Thanks for the information. Looking forward to test riding one in the near future. See them for just over £2000 new! Appreciate you taking the time to reply, cheers 👍 👍
How do you find the bike over all? Is it reliable etc. curious to know if you've had to repace any parts and if it was difficult to get replacements
@@azerbaijani bike runs sweet tbh uncomfortable on the ass on long rides but that's supermotos for you, some parts can be a little pain but there is places to get them ive always found a place or two that sells the bits, same engine as in the aprilia believe it built in same factory, only parts I've had to replace was throttle cable as snapped but it's just one of them things, I've done oil oil filter air filter pads ect myself found them all easy enough, all other mods was done down to my taste, just don't use iridium spark plugs they don't tend to do well in the bike, breaks are combined so not the best but they stop you, speed ain't bad had 79mph on clock and I'm 6'4 95kg so not a light guy so pulls for a 4 stroke, suspension is a little hard but not bad, standard exhaust is like an old man blowing out a candle so would definitely change the can lol, fuel is ok can do some miles with no problem did over 100 miles few weeks ago and she ran smoothly, but the bike overall is decent in my opinion.
@@TwistedThrottle91 Cheers for the detailed reply it's much appreciated. One of the main selling points is the engine for me being an Aprilia. Figured that if something went wrong then at least there would be availability for parts etc. I'll have to find a local dealer and check one out as it's definitely at the top of my list for my first 125. Keep up the vids, I imagine Plymouth is an alright place to ride nice views and plenty of country lanes on the outskirts
@@azerbaijani it's definitely worth looking at that's for sure I've had it for around 2 year's now and she has always ran smoothly and going strong she is only on about 7k miles so not a lot but enough done to tell if she has any problems witch she doesn't, obviously there is more reputable named bikes out there but this bike is spot on can't complain one bit apart from being a slow 4 stroke I was a 2 stroke rider they are built for the speed, if you have the money and can do maintenance on motorbikes then I would say go 2 stroke aprilia rs 125 full power is quick not to reliable, mito 125 is quick again can have it's problems and honda nsr full power is quick and being a honda is fairly reliable but hard for part's, but any bike can be fun being out riding free, just like any part of the world is amazing to ride in but yes plymouth is nice for it's rides as close to some really nice roads.
