They were present in the original, but there was no guide telling you how to do them in-game (at least not until internet game guides came along). You just had to wing it mid-attack until something happened.

It’s the Switch remake! I streamed it using a capture card. Just from the three hours I played, everything feels redone from the ground up: sound effects, music, graphics, UI and menus, it really does feel like Intelligent Systems went all out trying to make this feel as fresh as possible despite the familiarity of it all.

Why Dorcas and Oswin specifically?

@@pauseandeffectyt when promoted, i believe maybe even not promoted, Rath is one of the only ones that can save promoted Dorcas & Oswin effectively due to his high aid and movement. However, having Dorcas and Oswin isn't that great after earlier chapters. (I'm guessing you're on Lynn's chapters) Rath is also one of, if not the only, nomad character that you can obtain within the game.

Ah, so it's mostly a rescuing thing. Fair enough. Still debating whether I should run Rath, Wil, or Rebecca as my main archer for now, but I may have to double up on Rath and Wil's usage, considering the former rejoins so late in Blazing Blade. We'll see.

I absolutely choked the first time, hence the switch. The Retro Fighters Brawler64 NSO version is a nice controller to use for N64 games on Switch, but in some instances it has its problems.
