How does one add content to OneNote or Excel in a spatial environment?

Great video, thank you. How can I have clear text resolution like in Meta Remote Display, but while using the SteamVR Desktop Overlay? The text always look quite blurry for me through SteamVR, even though it s super sharp on VD desktop mode, in Meta Remote Display, or in the native Quest Browser.

What quest are you using?

did you need to use a laptop? because i currently have a pc. another question, is using the controller needed when using the work space?

Is there a way to overlay more than one screen.

Do you have your Quest connected to a PC to use Steam apps? Tethered or steam link or somehow else? How does that work?

why does the intro have poor framerate?

FPS is quite low. Looks like less than 30. That’s not very ideal. I think a minimum of 60 is mandatory.

how to work with vspatial with pico 4?

Can you use keyboard in this virtual workspace? Also for boards it would be nice if the boards locked on you if you were at a certain distance instead of being skewed/stretched since the resolution on VR and monitors is very low you want it to be sort of displayed in 2D and have not too much, and maybe have a cue when looking at someone's hair or on top of their head that they are looking at the board even though they might not be physically moving around to see it.

were you using a mouse in the beginning? how did u get the mouse to show up on screen?

If, in my real environment, I'm sitting in my recliner just enjoying the sounds of jazz in the Immersed Cafe environment, can I look around without having to physically get up? Meaning, if a person is in a wheelchair, and is enjoying whatever environment and wants to look behind them - especially if they they want to change seats to one that is behind them, but they can't see it, how do they do that? I assumed just toggling left or right would do it, but it doesn't (at least not on my Mac). I know you said you're a Windows user, so do you think it has anything to do with that? I haven't found any tips on RUclips that explains. Thanks.

I am trying to setup my Oculus but finding my corporate laptop is locked down and cannot run the Oculus App or any Oculus apps on the laptop. SO I'm going to try and run Virtual Desktop on my personal laptop (currently installed and connected) and then do an mstsc /v %companyComputer%, which is a managed device and able to VPN into CorpNet and do company work. My intention is to use Virtual Desktop and my company PC, via the RDP from my personal laptop (only way I can virtual desktop). I know this sounds convoluted and I'm TRYING to get a new company laptop so I can run everything on it...BUT I think this is the only way to run Rich MS Apps and do more company productivity tasks. Does this sound feasible and/or doable? Sorry for long email and I'll write back once I have it working, hopefully my Zoom and other business activities can work through a Quest --> Personal PC Virtual Desktop --> Company Laptop RDP connect...HA, what could go wrong 🙂

Is there a reason why you aren't using your desktop Office Apps and only using browsers? I have seen other videos of Oculus Rift using Virtual Desktop and leveraging and using your desktop in the virtual environment and gives you ability to use Rick Apps instead of just browsers?

I use WMR periodically for work, in addition to using Quest 2 with Immersed. For those people who need to, or prefer to, use their desktop in VR instead of individual UWP/Microsoft Store apps "panels", or for those non-UWP apps like Visual Studio, here are a few tips I've learned to make working in WMR more efficiently. If you have more than one monitor, or use dummy HDMI plugs, you can spawn multiple Desktop app instances in WMR and position them as you like or match the physical layout. For one Desktop, click the top left icon for settings, then disable "switch monitors automatically", then pick your first monitor. In the other Desktop apps, click the top left icon for settings and choose the other monitor. You may need to adjust your Windows display settings for layout if different from physical. Once laid out, you can use mouse to drag windows between monitors/Desktops normally. Also, to prevent the WMR virtual keyboard from popping up each time you enter a text input field on the Desktop, hit Windows logo key + Y to switch input to Desktop. Unfortunately, WMR doesn't remember which monitor is set for each Desktop app between WMR portal shutdowns, and you need to switch the input back to Desktop each time you remove the headset (unless you've overridden the defaults in WMR settings).

How did you record this video? Vr chat? So you were connected to immersed while recording your avatar from a not-your-vision camera?
