You didn't say what specific breed they are and I'm new to your channel. I run a micro egg business and when I've hatched chicks I could usually tell by three weeks. Some breeds are harder than others.

They will definitely take out a chicken but most will have to be hungry so if you leave food for them and then catch and release them somewhere else problem solved. The main point was as long as they have something else to eat then they usually won’t eat the chickens 🙂

@@kellydardeen6308 Now weasels are really the worst i have seen about eating chickens but they are few and far between 🙂

We have a german shepherd that keeps the hawks and raccoon’s away and a corgi but i don’t k know what she does but we have never had a hawk get a chicken but possums are scavengers usually

It very well could be different in different locations but i have had them eat chickens but not when there’s plenty of other food for them to eat

You could always have one inside but they are messy 🙂

Hahahaha 😂 I've shown my younger brothers this technique through the years. My father taught (well, I do not think he meant to) this style of work to me. But here in the Valley of Northern California, it works, to keep the water going down and out and not inside. Much Love ❤️

I think the raccoons are scared of my german shepherd because they stay away now the possums are goofy and keep on ending up in the coups 🙂

@@LisaRucker-x8k Thank you she has been doing it for 8 Years But thank you for the advice i have seen raccoons pull light bulbs out of path lights have no idea why but they are definitely smart i think that’s why they stay away from my dog and possums ain’t the brightest but will definitely take out chickens too.Hope you enjoyed the video
