THe correct word is RURAL indians, because all indians are indigeous to india, including rural as well as urban. If rural indians are 'indigenous', then does that mean the urban indians are foreign colonisers?? How absurd is that?? We need to stop using these ridiculous and divisive terms which were imposed by the british and unfortunately still being used today, even by indians administrators, because most of them are still mentally colonised and misguided in their perception of themselves and their fellow indians. We need stop seeing and defining ourselves through the distorted lens of our former colonisers.
