I’m literally so obsessed with the pokemon and Digimon figurines 😭😭😭 I’ve been similarly trying to find the curiosity and inspiration I I had once as a child. Also love the differentiation between just sketches and working on projects or pieces; I’ve never really looked at it like that before and I think I’m gonna have to carry around a little non serious sketchbook to doodle whatever in; as opposed to lugging my iPad around and feeling like if I’m not doing something important then it doesn’t matter (if that makes sense?) idk sorry for rambling but yes I’m happy you seem to be enjoying your new job and prioritizing yourself at the same time ❤

I feel you about the phone addiction DDDD: it's been so bad for me too... but recently I've been using it less ty for the update and I am excited to see more of your art in the near futureee 💛🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I did a 4 month software engineering intensive last summer that was 11 hours a day during the week and half days on Saturday. Before that I worked in fashion for around a decade, so a huge change, but something I really wanted to pursue. The only way I was able to get through it and lock in was getting that opal app and setting all my social apps available for only an hour a day, turning off all my app notifications, and putting my phone in focus mode all day. Atomic Habits by James Clear also really helped me create systems that supported a healthier lifestyle so I was staying on top of gym and eating :) Good luck Justin!
