Something I love about this game! First time I played it had no trouble with the drunkard, but still have not been able to beat Madame butterfly on my PS4. Now I decided to repurchase the game for my steam deck, this time I had a ton of trouble with the drunker but only took me a few times before I beat Madame butterfly! This game is so weird in that way and I love it!

1v1 easiest boss in the game. To anyone struggling: Just take your time and chip away at him. Dont be greedy. Take your time to deal a bit of damage and back up or parry/dodge his combos. None of his combos reach you if you back up enough, and they all leave an opening for 1-2 hits. Especially when he goes for a drink or spits it out

My thing is.. how tf are you blocking those attacks RIGHT after you swing? Theres an almost 1second delay before blocking after a swing in this game
