Godwyn being the FromSoft's first boss ever to have three cutscenes in one fight is such a cool concept. He had potential to become one of the most memorable bosses in soulsborne history. Even if the story tells that he's completely dead, there's definitely some way they could bring him back, even as a disgusting corpse like in The Depths.

I love it but I also cant stand people who genuinely think Godwyn should have been a boss in the DLC. It was THOROUGHLY established throughout the game that his soul is completely dead. Even Miquella tried and failed to revive him Castle Sol. There was never a chance in hell Godwyn would be revived, its highly illogical. And technically he already is in DLC... his corpse at least.

How to have Godwyn as a Boss? There's a Tarnished who was destined to becoming Elden Lord. However, once he learned the night of the black knives, and the death of Godwyn, he fell in despair. He learned all he could to go back in time to "Save" Godwyn, and he did, he went back in time. He beat Prime Maliketh and stole the Rune of Death for himself to keep it away from the Black Knife Assassins. However, the assassins knew and they came after this Tarnished. The Tarnished had no other choice than to fight the assassins for the sake of the Demigod. He fought for a very long time, until he lost his mind and grace. The Tarnished was fed with countless of hearts of the Assassins, and flooded the entire map with the assassin's blood. The Tarnished resided, and The Golden remained... Then, an Elden Lord/Lord of the Frenzied Flame/Consort of the Stars(the player) followed the Tarnished's path. The Player went back in time to save their timeline from being altered, by The Tarnished's attempt to change the future. The Player will kill this Tarnished to take the Rune of Death back and then uses it to finish what the player had started. To kill Godwyn the Golden... Edit: "And what about the night of the black knives?" I'm taking reference from Artorias of the Abyss DLC where the story of Artorias killing Manus is only told half the story while in reality we're the one who killed Manus. This is the same case here, the Black Knife Assassins didn't kill Godwyn, we did. And they will take the credit of "Killing Godwyn" to report to their mistress Ranni

Great playlist and art, glad to see is not AI

After listening to the Death Knights’ theme, this theme is actually really fitting sequel to the theme. The track gave me similar vibes to the Death Knight’s theme but sounded more regal. Though I wish the Phase 2 and Phase 3 segments are longer since Phase 1 is way longer than those 2 final phases

if I may be so bold I love this even more than his actual theme

I feel like Godwyn wields nature the second power closes to the erd tree being queen marikas first perfect child he’d be closes to the erd tree wielding healing and nature. That would also explain why when he died there’s death roots like vines which is the opposite of wielding nature of life instead nature of death if that makes sense making him handle the attack on the settlement wielding his nature of life and healing to take down that gigantic dragon while protecting the people and avoiding death all to avoid his mother obsessed with the protection of the Erdtree take actions and send Godfrey to kill all the dragons making fortisax and the other dragons join there side being a threat to the erd tree making godwyn Jesus of the children that would also explain why queen marika almost lost it to the death of godwyn breaking the shard but her second side was obsessed with the order she made because he was born from that godly power he tried to fix it back. If only queen marika remained sane she could have at least start from the beginning and gather her family and help from the heavens to end the wars and slowly fix both the lands better than they were in here peak cuz the lost of her son would have ended her obsession and confusion with her other side making them of the same mind different forms handling the lands with love and grace from the heavens once more.

Hear me out-Prime Radahn is bossfight in Shadow of the the Erdtree. So Miyazaki Make another Elden Ring DLC with Godskin Queen, more Frenzy and Sleep Bosses and the last Boss be GodWyn with Darklurker move set with crazy Deathblight powers and Lightning abilities. Phase 2 he summons Fortissax back from the Dead and it becomes Nameless King. Phase 3 is where we see the real death prince for GodWyn feels sorrow seeing his pet Dragon bite the dust.

It's a shame that they didn't put godwyn in the dlc (and the worst is they've put references to him!) Hell, from soft could've made a quest where you have an object at the end who could activate his corpse in the main game, I really don't understand... At least we have this fan made ost but I would've love a fight with him and an official ost...

first cinematic: godwyn the prince of death (here rest the first of demigods who died) second cinematic: the betrayed demigod "he recoverers his mind" (oh mother all this time it was you the one who kill me...) third cinematic: Godwyn prince of the death golden (tarnished, i cant let u be the elden lord but I can give you the death that was denied to me, now please die.)

This dlc got potential for some crazy big name bosses, like Godwyn, Gloam Eyed Queen, and of course Miquella/St. Trina. My bet is that Godwyn will probably be the final boss of the dlc, and the optional harder boss will be the Gloam Eyed Queen. Unless... “this is a big stretch”, the optional harder boss ends up being the mentor of Malenia who also sealed away the Outer God of Rot by himself, The Blue Dancer/The Blind Swordsman. Dealing with Malania and her Waterfowl was enough of a hassle, but imagine the creator himself...
