I make hard and wacky levels in Super Mario Maker 2. Currently doing Halo 2, Blinx TTS and Midtown Madness 3 speedrunning on the side as well. Also currently learning music prod as well :)

This is the last level I'll upload for my alt for a while now (minus the practice level(s) that will come out of my 7k level). Depending when I make that 7k level as well, may be the last level of the year too.
This level was originally going to be for Isherwood's skytree contest (I think it was his correct me if wrong). I started relatively late, so held off on it for a while. You may be wondering too, would this have counted as a skytree? Probably not lol, but it has elements of a skytree. The fact you have to keep this fish alive the whole way up and get rid of things that would kill it, like you would for a skytree, kinda resembles it a bit? 13 restarts, 3 of which cost me like 6 minutes, and the ones on the last level cost me 2. Other than that, pretty solid run as the first All Missions run. Had a lot of practice from doing All Required Missions, and especially doing DC individually. Probably will come back when I better route each level, I'm thinking a sub 2:35:00 may be possible. Turns out if you don't die as much and do the strats somewhat decently, you can get a sub 2 hour lol. I got a 2:13:06 before this too, I kept the timer going on accident after that one so the splits are wrong, not -27 minutes just -21 lol. Still can improve with the strats that I'm using since I died a lot still, and 7-2, 7-3 and 8-1 were stinky. Sum of best are also close to third, pretty cool...

Was thinking about keeping this unlisted, but since its my first sub 3 hour run, might as well make it public. This is my second run, but my actual first "real" run cause I learned the speed strats for the game. Still not very good, but this was more to get used to time control management since that heavily fucks with my brain and is hard to keep track of. Need to do more runs to really get use...
