Southwood Golf Course - ⛔️CLOSED⛔️
Some years ago Rushmoor Borough Council closed down the beautiful Southwood Golf Course.
One of the great features of Southwood Golf Course was that it was a public Club with a very open-armed approach. For pretty much all ages and abilities it was the ideal 18-hole course for many to take their first steps.
Southwood didn’t boast a feeling of pretence, quite the opposite, and for this it wasn’t just a great Hampshire public course but also served many golfers from nearby Surrey and Berkshire who regularly visited.
