As I’m disabled I couldn’t fix this! I can’t step up on a ladder to blow the air through. Resulting in problems constantly! Never again no moonroofs!!!
Good tip with the WD. I knew to use something very flexible like weed whacker string since too much of a blast could blow the hose off the connector that leads outside. Thank you!
Nissan places the drain holes on the "16 Rogue under seats as well as through the front pillars, thru the dashboard past the hood drains above the wheels. These drain holes were designed to have a plastic mesh to force blockage so you need to go into the dealer to get it cleared somehow. Just take apart the dashboard plate from the hood and snap those filters off. NEVER buy Nissan.
I tried the air can, then .065 weed eater string, the an airpump (I could not seal to create pressure) and none of that worked. There was a lot of junk in there. I then picked up some bicycle braking cable. It was difficult to force down and eventually, I could not go further. After that, I began forcing the wire cable and advanced it enough to break it up and drain. Now I'm happy,
I don’t see any debris on the hole but i used a thin cable and put it through the hole about 5 inches. It’s still clogged. Should I try the blastoff still or is it clogged down there?
Weed Wacker string works well and no chance of blasting the hose loose from the connector that leads outside. He did short bursts instead of blasting it.
It may work for some. However, you do risk disconnecting the drain hose even if you limit the pressure to 30 psi. It happened to me. Do this only as a last resort. Some people have had success with Liquid Plummer, which will not harm plastic drain lines.
How can I see the hole and you moving the camera too damn fast?! Like come on bro
Do not blast pressure there, not all cars are able to withstand it. You need to manual push something to clean the drains
How many miles does it have?

I use WD-40 silicone spray. It uses the force to get the water flowing, and it also lubricates the line to keep clogs from forming in the future.

I’m lost as to where the drain holes are! I have a 2016 Nissan Murano and is currently experiencing this clogging problem

This is the exact solution i needed! My HRV is the first car I've had with a sunroof and never had this problem before. Thank you!
I did not see the hole
What if you have done this several times, but it continues to still clog up and leak
I wanna know too happens to me too
Wow great job
My water comes out at the sunroof control panel on my 2017 explorer : anyway to tell why ?
Most likely the drain hole is clogged. It backs up and overflows into the backside of the headliner
If you dont have an air compressor use a can of BlastOff. It's an office supply product for dusting off your keyboard.
Thank you for sharing that information 👍🏾

And we’re might it be leaking though if there’s no sunroof? And it’s not ac leak
Works been doing that for most of my feiends mine I had to repair the connections.
Thank you so much
Cant see the hole ,too fast too much shaking
to much psi
Small air compressor not much at all
@@evan668 do you even know what you are doing ? messing them drains up shouldnt be more then 30 psi. clearly not
@@evan668 check out your air compressor you got water shooting out of it :) vape
@@billwilliams7840He fixed the problem... stop busting balls a-hole.
I simply used a Mc donalds drinking straw to gently blow out the clogged gunk.. worked for me 👌

I don’t use chemicals lots of drains are rubber not plastic
So don't use the air pump at WaWa?
Weed wacker string works well and not so strong that it'll risk the hose disconnecting from the connector leading outside.
Great bike, I’d love to hear more
I still have it no use for it took it apart and rebuild the engine but have t put it back if you want it
@@evan668 yeah I think I’d be pretty cool to see it get reassembled too
