We have new dahlander motor from siemens,The issue is that after the motors have been installed for the first time and measuring no load current at low speed, it is noted it was greater than the rated current that was recorded in the nameplate, and with load, the current, although at low speed, is greater than the rated current. In high speed the current is less than the rated current. Is the measuring current normal for low speed? And if not, what action needs to be taken for this issue, and what measurement can I take? The motor name plate is shown below. Low speed :400V/50HZ/∆/6.1A/1.54KW/PF:0.52/Eff:69.7/RPM:735 measuring current at noload:7.3A imageHigh speed: 400V/50HZ/YY/6.3A/3.05KW/PF:0.85/Eff:81.1/RPM:1440 measuring current with load:2.3A

The rubin's did have that problem the dash would just go on them some tractor they where just be good if the dash was better same has the one on are farm we have a same rubin 150 i think the dash has gone on her she has not been started in about 10 or 12 years so

If you are not skilled (meaning TRAINED) at soldering, you are going to kill the motherboard. I recommend finding a real tech that does itty bitty soldering for a living giving them $50, and moving on. Looking at my dead Cozmo.

My still wont charge sadly. I did a resistance check between the charging contact point and the + battery solder point, and it does not have contact between. Not sure what to do about that.

Thanks for the video. I finally got my son’s Cosmo back from my ex-wife after not seeing it for a couple of years. Could not connect and it only showed activity when on the charger. I ordered the battery you show here and installed with the help of your video. Everything went fine, but unfortunately he still won’t connect. It did say weak WiFi on initial attempt, but basically the same symptoms as before after that first attempt to connect. Unless the battery is defective, something else must be wrong. It’s an original Cosmo in mint condition. Just can’t connect or pull up diagnostics menu. My son is so sad.

Hi, for US based customers I would like to recommend Bill from eBay for battery replacement and other fixes. I recently purchased used cozmo from ebay and the battery was not lasting more than 5 minutes. I have used services of Bill from ebay. He did excellent job of replacing the battery (I tried to replace the battery myself but ended up damaging the wheels - he replaced the wheels and replaced the battery as well) - can't wait to see my daughter happy to play with Cozmo again! if you have damaged cozmo, he has trade in option as well. Hi there , good video ! I have another issue. I have 1st generation Cozmo and powers off immediately after leaving the charger. I suspected the battery, so have change it. However the issue still persist. I measured the battery and appears full when disassemble it in pieces. Any idea what could it be??? Looks like the power is lost somewhere..!?

Hi I did change the stock battery to the 600mah on my Cosmo. Before I change the battery, Comos was working normally for 5 minute. Now , whit the new battery, nothing, it does not want to charge. Do I need to do something to wake him up ? Thnaks

Brought a Cozmo today but it’s not holding charge at all! Maybe 30-60 secs tops :( have now ordered the same 3.7v/600mah to arrive on Wednesday, thanks to you I know now what to do. Do you have any experience with the cubes? 1&3 are fine, #2 is having connection issues, new battery, does it’s start up sequence but does not turn blue like the others. In Cozmo app it keeps disconnecting/reconnecting every 10 seconds or so :(

Hi Gasper, followed you video no problem, and repair went great, or at least I thought. Did the menu you show at the end and everything seemed working. Whilst in the gyro info window I lifted Cosmo off the charge base and now it seems dead. Putting him back to the charger doesn’t have the charging lights anymore. Not sUre if this was caused by me being in the hidden menu when it ran out of power maybe. This was a water damaged unit (new phew dropped it in a puddle of water) so this was more of a last ditch effort to save him, but everything seemed good. Do you think being in that menu when it was taken off the base could have done anything?

after battery upgrade, under battery V mine says x10 40
