Hi everyone! After staying a few days in Osaka, we decided to use our JR Pass and go to Hiroshima. We stayed in Hiroshima for 24 hours and visited the sacred island of Miyajima. We saw the famous red gate, the infamous deers and we took the Miyajima ropeway to Mount Misen observatory. Afterwards, we took a boat to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park to visit the museum and the atomic dome.

Oia if you plan on taking many pictures of the town (morning, afternoon, sunset) but Oia is more expensive than Fira. We stayed in Fira and took the bus to go to Oia. Restaurants are also more affordable in Fira!

It was quite hot during the day, easily 41-43C at noon but it did go down to low 30s in the evening and night. The fountain show took place from 6-11pm every 30 min although it may have changed since then

Hi! I think you need to add another 30-40 min to reach the top of Sentinel Pass, possibly more if lots of people are on this trail. I used the Gopro Hero 8 :) Enjoy your trip!

It is quite hot during the day and could be tricky with young children. But there are plenty of indoor activities that are perfect for kids. There’s also a big waterpark at Atlantis so this could be a fun attraction!

Hi! Your video is very informative to me! We are planning our trip to larch valley, this is our first time, I wonder if bear encounter should be a concern at fall? As I read some blogs says it is bear season, and it is mandatory to form a group of 4 to hike, and some website suggest to join guided hike which is very expensive for a hike😬 Thanks!

Hi! The trail was full of hikers during this popular time of the year. You will end up hiking behind groups of people no matter what... no need to pay for a guided hike! Enjoy :)

Hi! I think it should take 3-4 hours for a round trip but it will depend on how much time you take for photos/snacks.
@@MatchaAdventure I know it's late but we're planning to visit this year. How was the trail difficulty? I was planning to visit together with my mom who's in her early 60s. I'm also not experienced hikers but we can walk 20k steps as long as it's not a steep walk. We only want to see the larches.
@@Rainyyvlogs Hi! I think this hike is doable for both of you. However, it does have a lot of switchbacks because you are starting from the lake and walking all the way up. If your mom is relatively fit, I think she can do it.

Surprisingly comfortable! All the tours seem to start late afternoon when the heat is much more tolerable. Just make sure the car that bring you dune bashing has strong AC!

Hi! I think 2-3 hours should be enough one way. So maybe 4-6 hours round trip? We spent some time lining up at the teahouse for lunch so that could slow you down.
