Chaotic AR is Extreme Trial level of difficulty, just with 24 players. It's not that hard if you study up what you need to do beforehand.

If you're a casual player. Do not go in! If you've never done savage, please don't go in. This raid requires a lot of brain power and understanding. It's not like normal alliances or dungeons. There's a lot of mechanics and a lot of savage like mechanics brought to this fight. If you just push buttons in dungeons, this isn't for you. You have to know your rotation here and all your cds and where to use them.

Yeah some of us have fucking lives, and can't do the harder content, since you need to devote a ridiculous amount of time to learning mechanics and practicing WITH a full group of people who all need to be on at the same time? This shit is retarded

they been spitting in the face of casual since dt came out with the lack of casual content and bad existing casual content (dungs and msq). i know endwalker was a casual heaven and ignored the midcore player but common the answer wasnt to f casual to cater to midcore(and they dont do that even now) but to give everbody content honestly dt has been the raider expantion and casuals arent raiders in general . but it if se continue this way it will lose the casual player in 2 to 3 years and that wil lbe the time the face their "wow shadowlands expantion" phase and realize without casual this game would be dead. ppl may argue causal dont sub a lot and the answer is YEAH WE DOTN HAVE ANY CONTENT OT SUB FOR .

The fact this is doable with 12 people means you have a lot of potential slots for essentially carries. Which is exactly what's going to happen a couple weeks into this. Especially with the first timer rewards. I'm seriously worried this is going to turn into a WoW style selling clears for gil situation. I don't do savage stuff in 14 mainly because it stresses me out and I don't feel the need to flex in a videogame anymore. Back in the mid 2000s I raided pretty hardcore in WoW and that's honestly just not what I like to do anymore. Truthfully I haven't even done an EX trial since ShB. I may try and do this in PF after it's been out a week or 2 just because it's new content, but I highly doubt I'm going to take it serious in any way.

A report from the community doesn`t get your account banned unless it has merrit. So if you are not toxic as hell or cheat like a mf, there is no way you loose your account from a report.

Im not afraid to admit I was wrong about something and one thing I was wrong about is that they wouldn't add an hairstyle to the loot pool for this chaotic raid. It was confirmed that a new hairstyle will in fact drop from completing this chaotic raid and it will be sellable on the market board. It will COST PLAYERS A LOT OF GILL TO GET THIS HAIRSTYLE. CAUSUAL PLAYERS ARE PISSED THAT A LOT OF THE MOUNTS AND THE NEW HAIRSTYLE IS LOCKED BEHIND HARD CONTENT.

Yesh, I don't like the community either, they are annoying as hell.

FFXIV average playerbase don't care about other players. Just premade everything, exclude the masses, get a better play experience.

FFXIV has become a home for people with insecurity and / or mental illness. They might be a minority, but they are loud. And SE will cater them. Yes, this is complete bullshit and has to stop. The best thing to do is just quit the game and let it rot. It's no longer good anyways.

I hate the, "You don't pay my sub thing." Crap just drives me nuts. It's always over them overreacting over something stupid as well. "Like, hey, the boss has a pool under him that keeps killing you. Please don't walk in it..." "You don't pay my sub! Leave me alone and play your own game. I don't want your help!" Immediately walks right into the pool and dies. I don't raise them. I get reported for toxicity. Luckily, I got a good mod that took my side.

Counterpoint: Advice is helpful when offered correctly and well received. If they don't want it then don't give it to them.

Only time id ever give advice, is thru voice chat on a discord. Anything you type into chat in FFXIV can be reported. Anything, even if its just general talk in the middle of Limsa. Whats worse? Three Red Flags on your account, no matter how b.s it is, and your permabanned. No appeal, no explaination, your done. Never ever, give advice ingame unless its with friends you can trust.

Using emotes is fast on playstation and no you don´t need to place any of them on your hotbar.

Giving advice and not giving advice is a double edge-sword. When you give them advice, it's to help them improve but they will take it as aggressive stance because you are dictating how they should play the game. Not giving advice, is well...They'll never improve and will just keep on being terrible at the game. I'm a flex, I know the inner workings of each jobs in the game, I know how to heal, tank and DPS with no problem. And recently, I've transitioned from main healing to tanking, and I've noticed that there's a A LOT of terrible healers there, and hilariously enough, they are mentors and the sprouts is a hit or miss, but most sprouts are competent enough as a healer. Everyone is in a strange headspace when they play their own jobs, especially on high level content. This is true to mentors, they are extremely bad.

I've been on FFXIV for over 5 years and minding my own business has mostly kept me from getting into trouble. The only instances I've had were I've been reported is when I first started FFXIV and named my cat boy BigDickDaddy. The second time was recently when someone on Primal North America data center reported my Adventure plate. Those two situations boils down to people being straight up snowflake's. 10 out of 10 times of you're minding your own business on FFXIV you won't get into trouble with other players. If you feel the need to tell someone what to do or you're a mentor you MUST MAKE SURE YOU WORD YOUR DIRECTIONS IN A WAY THAT WILL NOT MAKE YOU SOUND LIKE A DICK RESULTING IN YOU GETTING REPORTED.

the best way to give advice is through macros or direct information don't tell people what to do, just show them useful information about the fight, in real time it's what most of us have done in order to have succesful mentor roulette runs like "CAST X = out" "CAST Y = in" for 80% of the fights you get in roulettes though, you won't need anything like that just some specific raids and trials can sometimes require a bit of explanation even on normal at the end of the day you can always mark yourself with a dorito and that will usually be more help than any message ever sent

we can't have good mmo's now day's at all in general they lost the 3 aspect's that made mmo's so good like gameplay world and socializing aspect's
