I really am enjoying those turn arounds! Your art is amazing! Just a doubt, when he is on profile, would you really do his feathers very flat on the animation or it is just because of the turn around? Its an interesting shape it being so flat, but I imagine it would move with the animation? sometimes I don't know how much of a turn around is really respected because of composition ( thinking here about 3d Snoopy/Charlie Brown for example)

Hello, your work is amazing! I noticed you put both character design and background art in your portfolio, that's very interesting. Were you aiming for visdev jobs or was it made thinking about a specific animation company which requires both skills? I'm asking this because your portfolio is so full and has a lot of world-building characteristics, usually the portfolios I see for concept art focus either on background or character design and not both at the same time. Fantastic work!

this is an interesting concept especially on painting method, I usually just brute forcing the colors by painting them manually on each respective layer (FG, MG, or BG). I'm going to try this method next time for my personal project.

Super inspirant ! Je pense qu'on a un parcours similaire, j'ai fini l'ESMA en 2022 et j'ai décider de pas faire de CG au final. Je travaille sur mon portfolio de visdev depuis et j'espère trouver mon premier job dans l'industrie en 2024

Avec un portfolio comme ça nulle besoin de chercher du travail dans l'industrie. Travail a ton propre compte tout le monde te contacterais Excellent travail vraiment, une vraie source d'inspiration. Chapeau.

i am SO sad that the kickstarted didnt reach the goal!! your animations are incredibly lovely. i think the issue is on the marketing side? ik youve a succesfull career regardless but i really hope you dont doubt your skills or imagination or whatever because your world&characters are just so charming and gracefully presented also!! maybe you could try doing some "trendy" stuff to gather audience? or you could animate some fan-favorite characters? like some ghibli characters or httyd's toothless. animations with them usually gets lots of views. anyway im so sorry if im being a blabbermouth, i just really want you to get the attention you deserve. i reaaally hope to see this short film someday too
