How did you get it fitted correctly. I bought one and it is still bowed up. Do you jave a video of the process to get it fitted
Haven't had it in years now. Went back to stock and went with race louvers for venting. Its primarily a track car now
@@TatuSwede501 did you manage to get the raised up sides to drop? If so how? Did you have issues with the hood?
@robertreynolds5835 i didnt have it long it never fit right. From what i recalled the bowing settled but the gap was so bad i could see the fender bolts with the hood closed

Those are AR1s I have them on 2 other cars as well. And yes this is #341 Wade's former car haha! I'm bringing it to Pocono next week, hopefully my 9lives aero comes in before then

Im actually really surprised how well the audio came out. Its just a gopro 5 session with no external mic on a selfie stick.

Did the hood get fitted correctly? Debating on purchasing this one or the basic iroc z hood but i really like this one.
It looks like yours came with a hood liner mines didnt. Also the center piece was installed on yours mines wasnt.
Definitely no hood liner on mine either
@@TatuSwede501 oh who did you order your hood from. I order straight from iroc but my center piece was separate it didnt come on the hood.

So what all have you done to your SS? Anybody know a track like this in FL?
At the time of this vid it was bone stock motor wise with QTP exhaust cutouts, but the suspension was done up with full BMR setup and Eibach springs non mag ride running Michelin PS4S 285 / 305
As far as FL goes you have Palm beach raceway as well as Sebring both I have run and also Daytona and Homestead Miami which I have not

@@jacklewellyn6163 thats awesome! Glad to see you're interested in tracking it, just take your time with it and learn from some good instructors. It'll make you way faster than throwing parts at the car

Either you were going easy on her, or you have progressed a lot in the last four months! What have you done to the SS performance wise?
Where you said it wasn't matching up on the sides was that a problem with the hood itself or just alignment? And how do you like the hood so far? This is definitely one of the nicest Hood I've seen yet just wish it was carbon fiber but I think I might get this one!
For the final post fitment we used some shims to adjust the fender slightly and also over a couple of weeks the hood settled and i dont have an issue with it anymore. You can see more recent pics on my Instagram if youre interested
